Kishi will pull it out this time the 8th gates coz I've never seen gai use the 8th gates in the series and and remember gai is a Green beast ninja of the leaf.. We will see it soon enough.

Gai showing the 8 gates would definitely be a great show, but like many people before me have said, Madara is on a completely different level. And Obito has the Mangekyou Sharingan and also the Rinnegan.

Obito cant use the rinnigans full potential, like Nagato. Probably hasn't had training with it..
I think obito said he gave the eyes to nagato to just intimidate peoples.. Same with Madara's name, he pretty much lied his way to the top.. And now he's gonna die.

Even if he dies he still will be the first one to ever manage all the eight gates...and will be hokage level that way... he will be of great help in the battle...

Now that Madara has steped in the fight guy has to go eight gate to give all he's got to help save the world even if he dies in the end.

Why would he do that? Obito has a jutsu that prevents him from being hit by attacks, and Madara is an Edo Zombie that can't be "killed" without seals. Going 8 gates would be wasted.

This war needs a real death in it. The theme of the older gen passing the torch needs to keep going. The last real death that mattered was Jiraya. Kakashi, Guy, or a Kage need to die. The stronger you are the greater chance you will die because there is always someone stronger than you.
