I feel like lone understands how fast a bullet moves, sasuke's sharingan wouldn't even perceive the bullet being fired let alone a normal ninja

Oh, I see. Could they possible feel the air pressure from the bullet right before it hits their skin? Also, wouldn't some of the higher tiers be bulletproof? Honestly I'm not too sure about that but I think people like the third Raikage could definitely tank them.

I mean if we talk about susanoo and such yeah probably could tank a bullet but thats hard to say since it has been shows to be weaker against piercing attacks and thats a bullet but its fiction so I was gunna say no chakra avatars. And air pressure na the bullet doesnt move enough air in front of it to be felt but you could see the vapor trail behind it but obviously be dead by then, idk if lightning armor can tank a 50. cal that goes through steel but fiction again

This is a reddit post with all the math and this is a .308 150 grain round, significantly slower than a military assault rifle round and anything under 975 yard away math states the person is hit before hearing the report of the gun

Over complicating it. A good ballistic calculator provides time-to-range at any given or wanted range. Just compare that chart to time-to-distance for sound, and where they intersect, there is your crossover range.
Here is a good ballistics calculator that has what you need. As an example, I inserted a standard .308 150gr round.
The 3000 yard chart output here provides an example of the output. It's in 250yd increments but can be highly refined.
Note that the round goes subsonic just under 500 yards, and it takes just under 27 seconds for the round to travel 3000 yds. The speed of sound is 375.333 Yd/s. In 27 seconds, sound travels 10,134 yards, so it is well well within the range of possibility for sound to 'catch up' with the round. At 1000 yards, it takes the round 2.753 seconds, and in 2.753 seconds, sound will travel 1033.29 yards. I could be a lot more precise if I re-calculated the trajectory to 10 yard increments, but for this regular old 150gr .308 the sound wave will pass the round itself somewhere around 975 yards from the shooter.
This is absolutely within the effective range of a .308

Therefore any ninja relying on hearing the gunshot dies without warning

Then another simple brief skimming of the Manga would tell you that Sasori's Iron Sand bullets alone breaks the sound barrier when it accelerates let alone attacks far faster than it in speed. FRS crossed an entire Mountain Range in a second. There are people and techs far faster than that.

If you reacted to the sound of the gun going off and required 0.20 seconds (twice that of the fastest Olympic sprinters) to react, then you would need to be at least 500 feet away to successfully dodge a bullet. The problem is that sound travels at 768 miles per hour (1,126 feet per second)—about half the speed of the bullet. In this case, the bullet would hit you before you even heard the gun fire off.
Your link literally proved me right. doesnt matter if a human CAN physically it matter that they can't because they don't have any notification of when the bullet was fired before being hit therefore you can't say they can react to something they have no idea happened.
That didnt show the sound barrier being broken for iron sand it was an illustration of acceleration lol, and lastly that was specifically stated to be a shadow shuriken aka two coming at one and the distance is definitely not a mountain range as seen here
