Guns being introduced into Naruto Verse?

I was just bored and began to think, like if guns were to be introduced into the naruto world , would they be off much use? :shrug:

could a gun actually do much damage to a ninja?
could a gun actually connect ( hit) a ninja??

do you guys think would it be practical to implement guns?
would it be useful to any ninja in particular???

depends... I know Naruto movies aren't cannon but technically they did kinda have automatic shooting kunai gun thingie where they shot like 200 kunai at the move directors in Naruto: Movie 1. That counts as a gun I guess
