Indeed.
We were all born into the world for a reason - or perhaps a better way of putting it is that we were born into the time of our calling.
While I will sound callous and unfeeling - the reality is that these little displays are tripe compared to the war that is an inevitability, at this point. This will become just another day in Europe - or an hourly event.
The fact of the matter is that while everyone likes to sing and dance and pretend that facebook pictures are going to ultimately defeat and absolve the problem... the reality is far less pleasant. There are quite a few ideologies that have claimed humans as their prize and as their domain - and will not settle for anything less than a manifest destiny.
War is our future. We all will have to take a drink of the wine of wrath.
Granted, this is happening a bit sooner than I anticipated. I expected them to wait a bit longer for America to begin to crumble - but coordinating the efforts of an entire theocratic ideology is a monumental task - so it's possible they just have difficulty keeping their enthusiasts patient.
Or, perhaps they assessed the situation differently.
In either case, the destiny of mankind is the prize to be claimed in this cycle's war of Armageddon. That will at least make the competition fierce.
