Gun Gale Online?

Does anyone know anything about the series Gun Gale Online? I looked on the wii page but i couldn't find any information. All i know is that it is a side story to the popular anime "Sword Art Online." That would be awesome if you could help me out with any information!

-When is it released?

-Are all the olf characters starring in it?

-Whats a very vague explanation of the plot.

-Do you know anyone that follows Sword Art Online on Narutobase?

After the Sword Art Online storyline proper, and its Alfheim Online follow-up, Kirito and company venture into Gun Gale Online - which as the name suggests focuses on firearms, with some lightsaber like melee weapons too. Like ALO's Lyfa, prominent heroine from GGO, Sinon has made her way into upcoming PSP game Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment.

Sinon will be voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro (Kurapika in Hunter x Hunter, Suruga Kanbaru in Nisemonogatari).

In the PSP game, you play as Kirito, who partners with NPCs to take on a corrupted version of the final 25 floors of Aincrad. It hits Japan March 14th.

Also SAO is getting an extra episode on December 31 .

this episode, its actually a 2 hour long special that recaps the entire first season including an extra episode featuring "Kirito and the others decide as they go on an underwater quest within the world of ALO to grant Yui her wish to see a whale. As they all prepare for the quest, they face a shocking revelation…Leafa, or Suguha is afraid of water. So, Asuna and the other female members decide to teach Suguha how to swim at a pool in the real world. Meanwhile, Kirito was meeting somebody…"

For those of you who have read the first chapter of Sword Art Online Volume 5 - Phantom Bullet you will know that after saving Asuna from ALO Kirito has a meeting with a business man about Death Gun which is main antagonist during the Phantom Bullet or Gun Gale Online story arc. This leads me to believe they are going to confirm the second season of Sword Art Online after the extra episodes airs and that this episode will lead into the second season.

The easiest way to describe it, is that its aincrad meets call of duty minus asuna and add a new female lead. with the possibility of actual death. Great arc
