So Activision just announced a new Guitar Hero game for this holiday season.

In particular interest, here's the confirmed setlist thus far:

The Killers, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, The Rolling Stones, Green Day, Ed Sheeran, The War on Drugs, and Skrillex

And the systems it'll come out on:

PS3, Xbox360, PS4, Xbox One, WiiU, I think Android, dunno about that though.

Yeah... I like the idea behind the new button system... but yeah... kinda weird in my opinion, especially given that I've been playing these games since the very first one back on the PS2, back before the three button chords and when hammer-ons/pull-offs were bloody impossible to do if the game hated you with a passion, as it did with everyone ._..

I never saw a problem with the last button configuration (using the guitar, of course), but I can't really judge the new way because I haven't played it, obviously.

You kidding? The first three bands are golden. Can't say the same about the rest of those shitty musical acts though.

They just need to add Modest Mouse, Vampire Weekend, Two Door Cinema Club and Phoenix.
