What's good about it? xd I just watched the first episode and I thought it was very very dumb xd
Of course I did! You seriously expect I believe it was Yuu's duty to protect that girl? She was pretty much a stranger...His character didn't seem very consistent, and in general Yuu's step into the plot looked forced (I almost laughed at the part in which Inori tells him "Use me").The animation and story (you thought it was dumb?) but it eventually becomes hindered by weak characters and slow plot. Oh! The music is EPIC.
... Well, the OST does sound good...ehe...but there's a lot of anime with great animation...The animations are eyecandy and the soundtrack is sweet too. Plot pacing could have been better though.
Characters are awful. Plot is weak. 2nd half is awful. Music is amazing. Animations are pretty good.
The characters are so badly written and the plot just keeps getting worse and seems to become like Swiss cheese by the 2nd half.
._. If you don't mind telling me, what do you like about its story?so many haters
I love the story & plot & the music is awesome , i dont see why many people bash this anime , it has great animation , the story is not thatd good but is not aweful i got over it & ended up loving the story & i think it has good character development ......but its not for everyone . Its onf of my favorites anime of all time , seen it 4 times already![]()
Lol I messed up with the MC's name xd Damm, I was so sure it was Yuu XdTruth be told I actually enjoyed it quite a bit, although it's probably true that this is because I had honestly expected this to be a terrible series from the bashing I'd heard. I thoroughly enjoyed it though.
Guilty Crown does have its unnecessary fanservice and the characters do seem inconsistent at times but I'd still say that on the whole it's a good series. Shu develops a lot as the story goes on and the plot, while far from being perfect, was pretty enjoyable all things considered. The characters aren't the most stellar I've seen but most of them are treated pretty well and the only one I had major problems with in terms of development was Inori because her personality felt all over the place and it was hard to point out her thoughts at any given time. There were a lot of parallels to Code Geass, which some might claim as "ripping it off" although I felt that Guilty Crown had its own elements that separated it from Geass. After all, Shu is no Lelouch by any means. Truth be told I viewed Guilty Crown as a mix between Geass and Evangelion actually.
It's a bit hard for me to explain why I enjoyed this series since even I'm not so sure exactly why I liked it so much. But regardless I'd say it's worth watching overall even though many out there hate it. I'd say the first 15 or so episodes are the strongest, and I didn't like the last stretch of the series as much but even that's not too bad and has its moments.
