Laws crew will gain quite a few new faces...
I made a similar thread in the past without real explanations , but I have a few now:
Like with this thread showing that the Strawhats are based on external sources:
It's clear that the Strawhats are based upon external fictional or real people. Little did a lot of people know that similarly: so are the Heart Pirates.
We can already draw similarities between the Heart Pirates and the Whitebeard Pirates.
So there's a clear mirror that Oda wants to create.
And there are quite a lot more similarities with Kine'mon , Momonosuke and presumably Kanjurou because of this. Here are some of the points explaining how Law etc are based off of external fiction or real people :
Trafalgar Law:
Bepo:
Jean Bart:
Not much is known about Shachi and Penguin....

So basically... at Zou or further down the line... The Heart Pirates will gain many new faces

Just some stuff I want to point out about Violet. Also why she could be a part of the crew:
-Her name, occupation, and opposition to Doflamingo may be a reference to Violet Gibson, the woman who attempted to assassinate the Italian fascist dictator Benito Mussolini.
-Her name and ability may be a reference to "ultraviolet", which is often used to see things normally invisible to the human eye.
So why is she based on a real person? Because she seemingly has an importance to the story. Most characters based on real people are important to the story. e.g. Admirals , Doflamingo , Most Supernovae , Enel.
The straw hats:
Luffy:
-Based off of Oda himself. Oda as a kid had a fascination for Rubber and Beetles.
-Luffy, during the Jaya Arc, displays a fascination for Hercules and Atlas beetles to the point where he becomes distracted from everything else. Both species are highly prized in Japan and are used for fighting.
Zoro:
-Zoro is the only Straw Hat Pirate to be named after a real life pirate, this being after the Japanese pronunciation of François l'Ollonais.
-El Zoro was also a real life criminal
Nami:
Her alias "Cat Burglar" refers to: a real life female burglar and Cat woman from Batman.
Usopp:
-His name comes from Uso, which means liar in Japanese, and Aesop, the author of The Boy Who Cried Wolf.
-It is possible that Usopp's long nose was inspired by the fairy tale "Pinocchio", as Pinocchio was a wooden puppet whose nose grew longer whenever he told a lie.
-Usopp's personality could also come from The Adventures of Baron of Münchausen, who said he had traveled around the globe on a cannonball, a lie Usopp himself said in episode 19, though no one gave any attention.
-Usopp might be somewhat based on the Japanese mythical species tengu, who were said to have long noses and habits of tricking people. Kin'emon even referred to him as a tengu.
Sanji:
-His name (三時 san-ji?) can mean "three o'clock" or "three o'clock snack".
-He is based off of Steve Bescemi from Reservoir Dogs
You must be registered for see images
-His hair style resembles that of Leonardo Dicaprios when playing the role of Romeo (a lover from a famous Shakespearean play)

Chopper:
- Chopper is seemingly based Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer as Chopper not only is a reindeer, but one with an unusually colored nose. Chopper's birthday, Christmas Eve, further leads to this conclusion. A song entitled "Chopper the Blue-nosed Reindeer" has also been produced.
-Chopper's Monster Point form strongly resembles the Wendigo, a man-eating monster from Algonquin folklore. Depending on the portrayal, they are towering creatures covered in hair with a large mouth and antlers, that always appear gaunt and emaciated no matter how much they gorge themselves. They are strongly associated with winter and coldness, and even their heart is made of ice in some cases.
Robin:
-Robin's past has some similarities with fairytale character Cinderella: both were mistreated by their adoptive parents (Cinderella by her stepmother, Robin by her aunt), both were forced to do household chores and were given little food, both "adoptive parents" only cared for their own daughters, while mistreating the adopted ones and also, both Robin and Cinderella were left behind to do household chores while the rest of the family went to party (Robins aunt and uncle went to celebrate their daughter birthday and Cinderella's stepmother went with her daughters to the king's ballroom dance).
Franky:
-Franky's character might have been inspired by the character Ace Ventura, as both have a similar hairstyle (pre-timeskip), frequently wear Aloha shirts and have eccentric personalities which include a flamboyant behaviour and a certain disregard for rules.
-Franky also bears a resemblence to the American cartoon character "Popeye the Sailorman". They both share similarly large tattooed forearms, are both 34 years old (pre-timeskip), and both rely on food for immediate energy and power (spinach and cola, respectively).
-The name Cutty Flam is a reference to the sailing ships Cutty Sark and Fram.
-The nickname "Franky" is probably a reference to Frankenstein's monster, since they both are re-created humans.
Brook:
-Brook's unique laugh of "Yoho" is a stereotypical pirate line commonly found in various pirate related pop culture. It originates from “Dead Man's Chest”, the sea shanty from the book Treasure Island.
-It is possible a partial inspiration for Brook's backstory came from the poem (and song by the British metal band Iron Maiden) "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner", by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. It involves a mariner and his crew who are led out of the fog of Antarctica by an albatross, but the mariner shoots it down and curses his crew into calm waters. Through a game of dice, Death claims the lives of all his crew, but Life-in-Death claims the mariner, who is cursed to a fate worse than death by remaining on the bleak, foggy ship alongside his dead crew for ages, forced to relive all their deaths through the looks in their eyes, until finally acknowledging the beauty of life and its creatures, and released from drifting through the fog, ecstatically jumping for joy when he sees the first living people to approach and take him away, to tell his tale of warning, now a sadder but wiser man.
Basically:
Luffy = Young Oda
Nami = Cat woman
Zoro = El Zoro
Usopp = Aesop/Pinocchio
Sanji = Leonardo Dicaprio /Steve Bescumi
Chopper = Rudolph
Robin = Cindarella
Franky = Frankenstein/Ace Ventura/Popeye
Brook = A character from a very prestigious poem
Violet = Violet Gibson
It's clear that the Strawhats are based upon external fictional or real people. Little did a lot of people know that similarly: so are the Heart Pirates.
We can already draw similarities between the Heart Pirates and the Whitebeard Pirates.
Note: these are my OLD comparisons. These change further down the thread as you will see soon
Law=Whitebeard
-Both Captains and both have very destructive devil fruits : both of which are paramecia
Jean Bart=Jozu
-Both of which are pure muscle monsters.
Bepo=Namur
-Both are non-human martial artists.
Shachi and Penguin have yet to be seen fighting but I think they will be the representations of Curiel and one of Thatch or Rakuya.

Trafalgar Law:
-Law's name is derived from real life pirate Edward Low. Law's apparently infamous cruelty echoes Edward Low's own reputation for violently torturing victims before killing them. This reputation is shared between Law and Low.
-Trafalgar is the name of a cape in the south-west of Spain. Its name is Arabic in origin, meaning "Western Cape". It was the site of a famous naval battle between the British and the French/Spanish fleet during the Napoleonic Wars, dubbed the Battle of Trafalgar. London's landmark Trafalgar Square is named for the battle, as is a class of submarines in the British Royal Navy.
-Josef Mengele, a Nazi physician who was known as Todesengel (German for "angel of death"), similar to how Bepo's captain Law is known as the "surgeon of death".
-Ironically, his wanted poster shows Bepo appearing in the background with his head turned in the same position and stance as Usopp in Luffy's poster.

Bepo:
-The back of Bepo's head can be seen in the lower left-hand corner of Law's wanted poster, similar to how Usopp can be seen on Luffy's.
-Bepo's name is similar to a poem by Lord Byron; the poem's titular character was captured and enslaved, but was liberated by a band of pirates that he joined, a situation just like that of Bepo's crewmate Jean Bart.
-It is also similar to the nickname of Josef Mengele, a Nazi physician who was known as Todesengel (German for "angel of death"), similar to how Bepo's captain Law is known as the "surgeon of death".

Jean Bart:
-When naming characters after real-life pirates, Oda usually gives them either just the first name or the surname. This one has the full name of French privateer Jean Bart.
-Jean Bart's situation of being captured, enslaved, and then freed by a band of pirates that he joined is similar to the titular character of a poem by Lord Byron, whose name is similar to Jean Bart's crewmate Bepo
-During the real world Golden Age of Piracy, slavery was a common occurrence, when slave ships were raided by pirates the slaves were often given the chance to join their crew or remain a slave. Considering the conditions on board the slave ships and the cruelty many slaves faced, many accepted because life as a pirate was usually better than life as a slave.

Not much is known about Shachi and Penguin....
Shachi:
-Shachi means "killer whale" in Japanese. This makes me believe that Bepo will actually parallel Jiru whom has the appearance of a Pig. While Shachi mirrors Namur: a fishman.
Penguin:
-I got nothing on penguin....
SO!
What about potential joiners?
Kin'emon:
-Kin'emon seems to have a fox theme as his epithet "Foxfire", fighting style and Devil Fruit ability to disguise himself and others are associated with the kitsune of Japanese folklore.
-Kin'emon's ability to control his farts is similar to a flatulist.
-His name and Momonosuke's come from Japanese actor Nakamura Kinnosuke. Oda is a fan of Kinnosuke.

Momonosuke:
-His name and Kin'emon's come from Japanese actor Nakamura Kinnosuke. Oda is a fan of Kinnosuke.
-The design on Momonosuke's kimono may be a nod to the "momo" in his name. His coloration as a dragon may also be a nod towards his name since the Japanese word for pink is momo-iro (peach color). When Jora used her powers on him, his head gains the shape of a peach.

Kanjurou:
-Got nothing on him
However if Kin'emon and Momonosuke were banished from Wano then I wouldn't be surprised if Kanjurou was too and therefore they have nowhere to go...

Caesar Clown:
-Caesar seems to have the double theme of clown and king, as:
---Caesar was the title for the Roman emperors, derived from the cognomen of Julius Caesar.
---Clown can be romanized both as Clown and Crown.
---He's the self-proclaimed King of Shinokuni (Land of Death).
---In his Shinokuni form, he obtains a crown.
-Caesar's sinister face, wild hair and horns make him resemble a stereotypical image of a demon; particularly Baphomet
-Him being captured by Law and Luffy mirrors what happened to the real life Julius Caesar, as they both were held for Ransom. Including the pirates negotiations, not going as planned.

Monet:
Allow me to explain: I have a theory that Monet is still alive....
and we have a good chance that Monet is alive. She was seemingly quite attached to Law during the flashbacks on Punk Hazard...
-The "HAPPY" on her shirt may be a play on her species, as "happy" and "harpy" are near-homonyms with only slight differences in spelling and pronunciation in both English and Japanese.
-Her snow monster form as well as her epithet is based on a yuki-onna, a monster from Japanese folklore that was literally a snow woman who would bewitch men before freezing them to death. Likewise her harpy appearance comes from Greek mythology for a half bird, half woman who was said to have abducted people. (Resembled by the abduction of children for Caesars experiments)

My new refined mirrors:
Trafalgar Law = Edward Newgate
-Both are named similarly to real life pirates and locations
-Both use really broken and OP Paramecia devil fruits which can cause total destruction
-Both are captains
-Both crews names are based on something to do with their captain:
Law steals hearts and uses this to blackmail during negotiations and Newgates white facial hair.
Bepo = Jiru
-Both are theorized to be Minkmen
-Both are close combat speed type fighters
Jean Bart = Diamond Jozu
-Monsters in strength
-Both have the same somatotype and are of similar size
Shachi = Namur
-Based on the names alone: Shachi = Orca and Namur is a Shark fishman
-Both are never shown with weapons
Penguin : cannot be compared to as of yet : however I think he will resemble one of Kingdew and Curiel as their hair / hat is of the exact same shape
XD
Kin'emon = Vista
-Both use two swords
-Both have epithets based upon their fighting styles: the foxfire and flower blades
-Both are of similar height
-Both have similar codes of honor
Momonosuke = Marco
The Ryujin fruit. A dragon that can climb on clouds and control storms : in future it will be OP AF!
The phoenix fruit. Allowing for instant regeneration : already OP AF!
-Their hair is perfectly opposite : Momonosukes is shaved on the top and Marcos is shaved on the side
-Both have mythical Zoan devil fruits
-Marco was only a child when PK Gol D. Roger was executed : Momonosuke is currently 9 years old.
Monet = Portgas D. Ace
-Both are Logia users with Knowledge of Haki
-Both powers contradict eachother
-Mera Mera no Mi is inferior to Magu Magu no Mi : another heat based Logia , whereas the Yuki Yuki no Mi is inferior to the Hie Hie no Mi : another cold based Logia. Both superior fruits are possessed by ex admirals
-Both are of similar age during introduction
-Neither character has shown that they can use the two predominant types of Haki regardless of their knowledge
-Ace was the captain of the Spade pirates before he joined Whitebeard. Monet is of the Donquixote pirates : if she is alive and joins Law this is yet another mirror between the two characters
Caeser = Thatch
-Both are very smart
-Caesar ate a logia fruit whereas Thatch came into posession of one.
-The Yami Yami no Mi (in Blackbeards posession) came directly in contact with Aces Mera Mera no Mi : Caesers fruit has similarities as it can manipulate Oxygen (key component of fire) and can create fire and explosive gases when ignited
-Thatch wasn't exactly the youngest member of the crew , if Caesar joined he would be one of the older members of the Heart pirates
Kanjurou = Haruta?
Kanjurou is a swordsman... but that's all we know of for now...
