Well, she DID use it, it's just that it is no attack in the regular sense, it rapidly expands and creates a new dimension, and through this expansion, Team 7 would have been killed; as BZ said, they would have been sacrificed for the new dimension.
They just sealed her in time before that could happen.

it´s not kaguya wasnt powerful, it´s more like even sakura punched kaguya lol
