As a Russian, I'm actually pretty surprised to see this. The teaser is surprisingly good, especially considering how shitty our movies were in the last 20 years, lol. Looking forward to watching it.

Well, make no mistake, I have no delusions about the quality of our movies XD There were only a very few good ones since the end of USSR, and I don't think they are commonly known outside of CIS. But I've just checked the info about this one, and it looks far better than everything in a while by now. So I guess we'll have to wait and see

lol i watched the old version, this was like idk..10 years ago. Probably didn't understand it at the time. Somebody about everybody becoming one in the end. I'ma have to set out the newer version this weekend.

I honestly liked the series end better than the movies' end, but I didn't watch all the other movies (the movies are like a redo of the series) I might try them later.

You should re-watch the old version first, though. You'll get a much better understanding of the newer one this way.

I'm (also) Russian and I'm also skeptical. After all, our "pop" culture has been mostly ripping off the Western one :|

Even if they can get the SFX to look good, they seem to have a chronic problem with voice acting (and sound mastering) - be it dubbing or our own movies. It may be just me though, but I find it cringeworthy. And heck, now that I think of it, our modern-day actors can hardly act at all.

Just superheroes? Sounds like its own universe. Nothing from DC or MARVEL. Or so it seems.
