If your having trouble playing gta online go to gta 5 go to the start menu and press friends only and start the game it should work the 1st or second time yu try it it worked perfectly for me and gta online is badass i play on ps3 this game is awesome as hell the 1st race takes awhile to load up properly so give it paitence im not a troll i just want people to play online so start gta 5 go to online tab in pause menu and choose the option that says friends in it and you should be playing in no time flat
