Sorry to say but you've already taken the bait lmao. It's been awhile since I've played GTA 5 myself, but I'm familiar with the situation you described — modder drops random a ridiculous amount of money, seemingly with no catch, but as soon as you take it Rockstar automatically detects that you got a massive bump of money and determines you cheated, leading to a ban. Your only hope is that they've become aware of this practice and have become a little more easy going on the bans, like I said it has been awhile since I've played.

Sorry mate.

Old thread, I'd still like to leave my insight incase someone else reads it. It depends, rockstar updates its anticheat pretty frequently, innocently dropped money tends to get sweeped (or not, it's not always effective) during their frequent sweeps, asking a modder to drop money can trigger a ban they usually associate it with "engaging in unfair play"

I've had millions dropped on in game, or when i was idle, some if it got sweeped some i spent, nothing happened.
