[Question] Group read or watch?

I would prefer either completed short series or completely new. Nothing like OP or Boruto.

Manga or manwha is fine for me personally. New like 2023-current/ended.

I'm open. Mostly because I want to use this to get outside the realm of what I normally read or watch (so I won't answer preference). That's also why I think this will be fun and apparently between you, Boom and myself, that's three people sharing their thoughts and opinions so we are starting strong. Already loving it. It's like a little book club.

How would a group read manga play out though, do we all read a certain section or too a certain chapter and then just converse our thoughts?

Just like any other book club or watch party. We pick a certain amount of chapters to read up to, 1-whatever, with anime from whatever episode to whatever episode. Simple stuff. And then yeah, like you said at the end there. Basically discussing what we think. Depending on how Dae wants to set it up since it was his idea, we can finish whatever or move on if we aren't feeling it, etc. But again, kinda excited for this lol.

Edit: @Daedalus That link has so many options. I tried to encompass myself to the first like, 20 for my picks but I will wait until we all share and start picking and we can go from there.

Exactly how Troi described. We set an established number of chapters to read weekly and what I've done in one I'm currently participating in on another community is I'll title my post with the chapter and share whatever inner thoughts, emotions or feelings the chapter stirs in me. If we need breaks for holidays, etc, we can work around it. The point is to pace it so everyone, including the slowest reader, can enjoy and participate.

I'm already caught up on the manga and done multiple anime rewatches with friends so I'm gonna wait until The One Piece comes out on Netflix with the new animation and condensed anime story before I rewatch again.
