No, it won't be. There are a multitude of reasons why the most likely person is Grimmjow.
- Grimmjow already had a rivalry going with Ichigo. From a story standpoint it's more sound to have this be Grimmjow.
- Why would Urahara have that expression on his face if it was Yammy? Explain this to me and I'll at least accept the fact that it could be Yammy. Urahara ran circles around Yammy and toyed with him without even trying. The last time they fought Urahara was playing with his Gigai device and mocking Yammy. If the mysterious swordsman was Yammy, then judging by the size of his sword he would be in his unreleased state. Urahara is leagues above of an unreleased Yammy. He's proved it on at least two occasions.
- What does Yammy's background story have to do with anything? Why would Kubo tell us his story NOW? If he was going to give us his story then he would already have done it. He won't be showing it. Period.
- Then there's the fact that...Kubo already confirmed that Grimmjow is alive and will be returning. He said this clearly in the same magazine interview where he confirmed Halibel and Nell's return. Guess what? Two of them have already shown up. Grimmjow's return is inevitable.

Response: & He was defeated shortly after his rivalry with Ichigo. If you haven't forgotten (& believe me, you HAVE FORGOTTEN) the whole Bleach storyline is out of sync! Byakuya's dream was to be just as strong as his old grandfather who passed down his sword to him; but now he is dead and we don't even know of his grandfathers wereabouts! Ichigo's never going to have a shikai, we won't know the true reason why Aizen was given such a powerful sword in the first place, even to the point that no 1 in the Gotei was unaware of that kind of power! This will probably never be shown since the Manga is going to be cancelled! Their are tons of more things I can say which involves Bleach messed up storyline but the fact of the matter is, you said Yammy won't fit in with the story and I say that the story is messed up whether you include Yammy or not, and it definitely won;t make a difference, (with the exception that he is way more stronger then that wack ass Puma Grimmjow)! Answer: Ok, so for my answer to this stupid question which has already been answered 3 times already, im going to include you personally as an example to make things very much clear:
Let's say You had a problem with someone in which You were toying around with them and furthermore, teasing them until they got frustrated and a fight was provoked between You 2. The person fighting you has pulled a muscle on his arm before the fight (suppose to represent that he wasnt at full strength due to his unreleased sword) but either way you were beating him up while you were in a state of humor. He then leaves the fight with his friend and then threatens that he will come back and get you. So a couple of years later, you were watching a fight with your friend and some other guy who was ordered to fight your friend. Although it looks like your friend is winning, the fight takes long and then you decide to lend a helping hand and land an attack to quicken up the scenerio so that your friend can leave in peace. As your friend is leaving, he trips and hurts himself right before you get critically stabbed in the back with a knife that went right through to the torso (an exit wound). You see the person your friend was fighting standing right behind you. Now you collapse on your knees while you can't move, your body starts becoming numb and moreover you are bleeding. You are starting to feel frightened and guilty for letting this happen to yourself. Right when the person that did this to you turns his back he 2 gets cut fatally and dies. You say to yourself "who was that," then the mysterious person comes forward to you and you recognize him as the man you provoked and toyed with. While recognizing this, you are bleeding and numbing and already feeling pain. You don't have any intentions fighting him so then you tell him wait but however, he puts a sword to your face and you now say
"Uh Oh!"
So now that we got that answered, lets move on. So are you telling me that unreleased Grimmjow can compare to Urahara? After all, you believe its Grimmjow so im guessing you take this question as a yes. So lets just answer it basically! Grimmjow's released state is so wack that he attacks with a paw. Their can be no definite way of him getting a sword while he is released. Yammy on the other hand, is way too strong for Grimmjow when he is in his released form! If you remember from the last chapter, yammy has his ways of getting to be bigger while he is in his restricted form. This involves his size getting bigger, in his restricted form.

Answer: The story did not explain why Yammy has the highest number! Whether he is a last survivor of his own kind (since he is a Dinosaur) or if he is a rare Vasto Lorde. If Captain Aizen has assigned Yammy the highest number out of all the Espada's, also an unbeatable number compared to all Espadas including wack Grimmjow, then he for certainly has a great hidden ability which has not been shown yet. Why did Ulquorria save him from Urahara's Hado blast? If he was not important then someone like Ulquorria who is always emotionless won't even bother trying to save Yammy!
He has a story that has to be told. Why is this man, the highest Espada? I loved Stark & Barragan. They were 2 strong arrancar's that will make Grimmjow look like Ant in Lava but as much as I hate to say this, Yammy's number was higher then their own so therefore he is or has something stronger then them!

Rule number 1, where are your sources (site, magazine/interview proof) that Kubo said that? & to be honest, are you really going to trust what Kubo said? Remember he said during the ending of 2011 that he has enough writing development to keep bleach running for 10 years! And he intended for the show TO KEEP RUNNING FOR 10 YEARS. Now all of a sudden its going to end in 2013... lol such reliability! I remember when he said that Captain Aizen is a good guy and that he will make a whole arc in which Ichigo will gain a new power with his bankai, along with him completely mastering it. Well, its just like what the bible says...no man knows the time of the end or future! He can't do that anymore! & the worst thing about this is, that this new arc of Ichigo bankai came out of Kubo's mouth 9 months ago....not even a year to be exact! But now he's obviously not going to do that anymore since he has lost funding for it!
..Halibel is locked up and it looks like she won't be joining the fight (she can't beat the emperor and he's like the only one their with his vice emperor). Nell can't fight the emperor neither, and if you were right and that was Grimmjow all along then HE WON'T BE ABLE TO FIGHT THE EMPEROR TOO!! So their appearance is as useless as trying to melt a freezie with its plastic on a stove burner.
Grimmjow return is useless! Yammy's return raises more curiousity!
