By coursing additional lightning through themselves, the user essentially turbo charges his Lightning Release jutsu. History:
Hailing from the once mighty Yuki Clan, Grey Fullbuster was born and raised in the Hidden Snow Village, a stronghold celebrated for its mastery of Ice Release techniques. From an early age, Grey exhibited exceptional talent in manipulating ice, a gift he inherited as part of his clan's rich legacy. He was raised in a close-knit environment where skill in ninjutsu was not just encouraged but expected, with tales of legendary Yuki Clan members instilling pride and ambition in him. His childhood was filled with joyous winters, where he practiced his ice techniques, casting intricate snowflakes and building elaborate ice sculptures with his friends. However, this blissful childhood was abruptly shattered.
Tragedy struck when a rival clan, driven by jealousy and greed, launched a brutal raid on the Hidden Snow Village. Their objective was to seize the Yuki Clan's secrets of Ice Release to bolster their own power. In the ensuing chaos, Grey witnessed the horrors of violence and betrayal, losing both of his parents in the attack. Heartbroken and alone, he believed he had nothing left but vengeance. This traumatic experience ignited a fierce determination within him to strengthen his abilities and vowed to protect those who couldn’t defend themselves, knowing all too well the pain of loss.
Determined to hone his skills, Grey sought out legendary mentors, dedicating himself to rigorous training. Under the guidance of many shinobi, he learned to master not only his ice manipulation but also other forms of ninjutsu, hand-to-hand combat, and strategic thinking. His mentors instilled in him the importance of using his powers not just for self-gain but for the protection of others. Description: A sword that has been passed down through Yuki clan for ages. It was broken before, in the war where the Yuki Clan almost became extinct. The sword is said to be made out of the heart of a special meteor that fell in the village. The meteor was as cold as ice, and had all the properties of ice. The Yuki Clan took the meteor, and forged a sword out of the core of this heavenly rock. As the sword was formed, it gleamed heavily and continued to send out a soft blue light. The user of this sword gets a +5 damage point boost on every Ice Release jutsu used, as well as slowly freezing anything it comes in contact with. Of course not the wielder, considering it must be one of the Yuki Clan to wield this. The sword also comes with a most secret technique. Once per battle, the user can channel Hyouton chakra through the sword and let a spear extend from it, up till mid range (much like Chidori Eiso). The second way to channel Hyouton chakra through it gives the user the ability to send out a wave of ice from the tip of the sword. (The same as Hitsugaya when he swings his sword in Bleach) This wave can be used as a shield from incoming jutsus.
Note: The spear is formed as rapidly as Chidori Eiso, but can only be used once per battle.
Note: The "Wave of Ice" can only be used twice and defend up to A-rank attacks.
Note: The "Wave of Ice" counts as on of the 3 jutsus used per turn.
