on your user cp, you see red bars for negative rep and green for positive rep, but whats a grey bar?

I guessed as much. I think it is because of my negative rep overall, that I have 0 points to give as a positive rep, or something like this.

it means they dont have enough rep to affect your rep

in other words, you have to have a green bar for the rep you give ppl to actually count -__-

Edit: its based on the basic concept that if you dont have an apple or even worse, negative apples, you cant give them away... i guess
