green laterns FTL?

i heard somewhere that a select few of the Latern core can fly at FTL speeds and fight close to that.

i have never gotten into green laterns so to any of you that do know about the Laterns are any of the core FTL?

I can't remember what issue stated it but, Hal Jordan said once that John Stewart was the best flyer out of all the green laterens. Not sure about the ftl though.
