Green jacket

Hello everyone
So I have been thinking about this recently, why does none of konoha 11 except shikamaru wear those green jackets?
Because we all know that they give them out when you become chunnin.
Kakashi and other jonnin/chunnin seems to wear them all the time.
But at least they are wearing them in war

Anyway jokes aside, It's basically war uniform and their representing the hidden leaf village. Just like Kumo, Sagu, and Iwu they were those jackets just to simply represent their land and each of one them are unique.

Hidden Village of the Cloud = Grey
Hidden Village of the Leaf = Green
Hidden Village of the Mist = Blue
Hidden Village of the Sand = Brown
Hidden Village of the Stone/Rock = Brown-Red
