Green Day is an American punk rock band which first appeared in 1986 under the name "Sweet Children" in 1990 "Sweet Children" became Green Day and they made their first album 39/Smooth it was a typical punk album which not had big sales then in 1992 group made another album Kerplunk for independent band it was not a bad album even with sales but in 1994 Green Day made cultural phenomenon Dookie this album created a pop punk genre and influenced many rock bands we hear today : Blink 182 , Fall Out Boy , Good Charlotte , My Chemical Romance , Sum 41 and more, more than 10 million copies of Dookie was sold it was the greatest breakthrough album of all time from 50 thousand punk to 10 million pop punk after that Green Day created album Insomniac (1995) , Nimrod (1997) , Warning (2000) in 2004 Green Day made a second masterpiece American Idiot over 23 million copies were sold worldwide and 6 million in U.S. in 2009 Green Day made another great album 21st Century Breakdown it didn't have such a big influence as American Idiot but more than 12 million copies were sold worldwide after a break in 2012 Green Day made a lifetime decision they made trilogy of albums ¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré!...
