Why they went with the brooding gothic (batman like) green arrow on the show is stupid. He is just like Bruce Wayne but with arrows XD.

Yeah I thought when they were teasing Hal we'd at least get a season of GA/GL I mean they even had Roy available it would have been perfect.

Visually there's no reason it shouldn't be amazing so it'll come down to what actors they get. I just hope they look for good character actors rather than look for someone whose mostly there for name recognition.

I'd like to see Guy pop up as a Red Lantern at least once, maybe at the end to set up a sequel of sorts where it's Red Lanterns vs the Corp.

I really wanna see Stewart done right, the way they used him in the old Justice League cartoons was insulting. The ring makes ANYTHING the wearer can think, so then why are over 80% of his constructs just circles and walls in the cartoons? Oh no we need a shield? Make a dome, we need to fly make a dome, oh no new trouble wall it off. It was boring.

It was a newer issue but I loved reading the pages where Sinestro told Hal his imagination is narrow and then created some crazy space monster to attack him and it's true even Hal has a limited scope of creativity being an Earthling for the majority of his life, I mean all the shit he's seen in the universe and he's still only making earthly weapons. Don't get me wrong I love the lanterns when being written by a creative team but when they're not they can be a bit basic, it seems like a waste of the power of the ring

You guys know that he was created back in the days just to get some slack to Batman since there wasnt tons of hero back then ...

The issue, with most, isn't that it's dark it's that it's not in character. Ollie is snide, sarcastic a bit dismissive and none of that comes across on the show. In the show Ollie is an Atlas character carrying the weight of the world on his back. Arrow's been a fine show I don't hate it, even the majority of season 3 was good. They were even able to introduce 2 new characters and did so pretty well, Diggle is one of the best new characters I've seen and I hope they try to bring him in the comics as well. Thea started off annoying me but after her time with Malcolm she became a better character. The island scenes have been good throughout all the seasons. The only disappointing of sort flashback was in China with Katana but it was needed for the story.

The creativity thing works well with Kyle cause he an artist so his constructs are always interesting. Agreed with what u said about hal his constructs seem to be limited to man made things that are machine like, probably cause he's an air pilot haha. John was kinda fodder in that JL adaption he coulda been one of the strongest if they did him right.

Yeah I think that's around where I dropped. I was trying to read GL and GL Corps. at the same time issue for issue to see if they crossed over at all. Based on your name I'm guessing you read the first lantern story, I think that's around where I left off what's been starting since?

Yeah I liked it alot. Nice ending to the geoff johns run. Currently bout to start forever evil after I catch up with batman

Batman was good start to end. Snyder was the man, kind of sad to see him leave.
