Greek Mythology or Marvel?

Which movies are better, Greek Mythology or Marvel?
Both are epic imo but only one can be the winner.
You got Wrath of the Titans and Immortals, etc for Greek Mythology and you got Iron Man 2 and The Avengers, etc for Marvel. But which category has better movies?

Agree... it was freaking funny, good fights.. Awesome movie. Made me watch Iron Man 1 and 2 the next day. And i want to rewatch Thor in HD.

I'm a fan of Greek Mythology but film adaptations are a no-no. They just get screwed ~ I mean MANY Mistakes in Clash of the Titans, if you were to compare the original story with the things they made up! LIKE PLEASE Perseus never met IO in real life, and she was TURNED into a COW cuz Zeus was whoring around with her and was afraid Hera'll kill her and so she fled to Egypt! And of all the Heros in Greek mythology who end up dead or leaving the woman they love someway, Perseus was the only one who ended up with Andromeda ~ DO THEY EVEN IMPLY THAT? Neh

Even with THOR, Sif is supposed to be his Wife, instead she's some oh-la-la female warrior. SHE'S NOT EVEN BLONDE T-T

So the problem is that you come to watch the film expecting the image you portrayed in your head, only to see that all crashing down ~ Like books adapted into films, basically.

Not an avid fan of Marvel but at least they're stick to the plot!

Marvel movies, IMO, are better. Greek Myth movies are epic, but I'm a Marvel fan for life.

i'm not really fond of greek mythology movies because they are never accurate. the action is awesome i admit and so is the cg effects but i think that the marvel movies bring more excitement than they do. makes you feel like a big kid!

Both got certain great movies but both got long list of lame and failed movies.

Marvel: Avengers is rocking right now. The recent Captain America was pathetic. The Ghost Rider movies are even worse. Thor and Hulk were barely average. X-Men movies were very good. Most Spider-Man movies were good. Iron Man movies are the best of the Marvel franchise IMO. Fantastic Four were poor but I guess I didn't sleep throughout it thanks to Alba.

Greek Myth movies: 300 is epic; courtesy of G.Butler. Immortals was boring. Clash/Wrath of Titans were ok but far from something satisfying. Could have been much better. Troy and Odyssey are great movies. Percy Jackson got a great story in the books but as most books, the pages aren't translated that well on celluloid. Hopefully, the sequels will remedy on that.

Overall: I'd say Marvel movies. Iron Man and Robert Downey Jr. has rejuvenated the Marvel Superheroes movies.

So called Greek Mythology movies have nothing to do with Greek Mythology, but look like they came out of a Marvel comic. There's no essential difference between them, when you think about it.
