I agree that the Itachi we've seen in part 2 is stronger than Jiraiya. I'm not saying Jiraiya is stronger. But back then, Jiraiya was meant to be an overpowered character, seemingly being able to beat almost anyone. Kishimoto made them talk about Jiraiya, because even he himself didn't know about Naruto Shippuuden yet.

Back then, the feats Jiraiya had an Itachi had, Jiraiya was on a whole different level. The Wiki is actually not editable by any person that comes along, and it still doesn't mean it's not true.

Quitting a discussion also doesn't mean losing. There is no losing. You can only agree or disagree. Really, making it about winning is extremely immature. It's about trying to convince the other person you are correct. And when both parties are too stubborn, it's pointless.

actually kurama can die, but everyone seems to forget it......the tailed beasts can die and get reborn,somewhere, and they will start over as babies again....but i see the way thinking he was talking about jiraiya, i understand that he probably meant jiraiya, but in that text it can also be made that he was talking about the 9tails jinchuriki..but i see your point..Kurama can die while he is inside Naruto if Naruto dies.Also since they have never been around the 9tailsJinchuriki Kisame isnt completely clued in on the 9tailsjinchuriki of the Leaf, but Itachi might be giving Nar more HYPE to scare Kisame.

not attention seeking at all although you have been obviously insulting me..
as ive said before, we all thought he meant jiraiya the whole time until this manga scene came out, but if you cant understand the other side of the argument or explain the conversation better then you arent any help for yourself.

tailed beasts only die when they are inside a jinjuriki But itachi clearly said if we fought then we would both die witch means his talking about jiriaya. Naruto wasnt strong at that time so they weren't obviously referring to naruto dying because anyone can kill part 1 naruto. Plus Kisame and Itachi calmy entered Naruto's Room and They weren't even scared one bit and you're saying that they were scared of a 12 year old boy who cant use kurama properly? Also Itachi and Kisame Fled Once they saw Jiriaya and then itachi was telling kisame that if we both fought (Jiriaya) then we would both kill ourselfs and Itachi knows that Jiriaya is strong and is protecting the leaf so as itachi so itachi didnt want to die and not Unlock the MS for Sasuke.
