Shikaro and Hinata are sitting on the top of one the taller buildings in the village, looking at the clouds as they pass over.
Hinata looks over at Shikaro. "Why do you always like to look at the clouds, Shikaro?" He simply looks over at her and smiles. She then becomes neverous and starts to overreact. "I-I didn't mean anything by that, Shikaro. I-I was just curious is all."
Shikaro just laughs. "I know that, Hinata...I look up at the clouds for the same reason that you should: to relax. If you don't relax a little bit, then you will wind up dying of a heart attack."
Hinata blushes and smiles at him. "You are always worrying about me. No matter how many times we spar and you say that I am getting better, you still look out for me."
Shikaro walks over to her and hugs her. "I wouldn't be to good of a person if I let someone as close to me as you get hurt, would I?"
Hinata doesn't say anything; she just hugs him back.
Suddenly, Shikaro breaks their hug and takes a defensive stance.
"What's wrong, Shikaro?"
He looks to the edge of the building. "Someone's coming. Get ready, Hinata."
Just as Shikaro prepares to make some handsigns, Naruto and Kyouka appear. Naruto immediately shouts to them. "Hey there, Shikaro and Hinata-chan!"
Hinata is surprised to see Naruto. "N-Naruto, when did you get back?"
The blond headed ninja just grins. "I just got back a little while ago." He then looks at both Shikaro and Hinata. "Wow, the two of you really grew, especially you Shikaro. The last time I saw you, you were as tall as I am now. Now, you are another 3 or 6 inches taller."
Shikaro walks over and jokingly punches Naruto on the shoulder. "Yeah, you've definitely gotten taller, Naruto. I don't have to bend over as much in order to wail on you anymore."
They all laugh at this and then Kyouka speaks up. "Naruto and I were going to Ichiraku's. Do the two of you want to come?"
Shikaro looks over to Hinata, who nods her head in agreement, and then turns back to Kyouka. "Yeah, we'll join you. We don't really have anything else to do right now except to stay up here."
Naruto yells out. "Alright! Let's get going!"
They all run to Ichiraku's as fast as possible. Naruto and Shikaro arrive first, trying to make a competition out of who could get there first. Hinata and Kyouka take their time. After they have all arrived, they take their seats and order their ramen. While they are waiting for their food, Naruto blatantly asks, "So, are you dating Hinata, Shikaro?"
Hinata immediately blushes one the deepest of reds that she has ever blushed before, while Shikaro chokes a little on the drink that he was sipping on. After he regains his composure, Shikaro wraps his arm around Hinata and says, "Yep, we sure are. What made you guess that?"
Naruto laughs a little. "I guessed that because I can't think of any other reason that she would want to hang out with you."
Shikaro balls up a fist, but Kyouka punches them both on the back of their heads. "Now don't you two start fighting when we are getting ready to eat. If you do, then you'll have to answer to me!"
Out of fear, both Naruto and Shikaro start to nod their heads frantically. "We promise to not fight. We promise!"
Hinata looks on and asks Kyouka, "Don't you think that punching them was a little much?"
Kyouka turns and grins to Hinata. "Nope. With these two, you gotta be a little forceful. Otherwise, they would be starting fights left and right."
Just then, their food is brought to them and Naruto changes from fearful to excited. "Alright! Let's eat!"
