Great, I think Microsoft sent me a virus.

Who would've guessed. All the time i've been watching porn and going to weird sites etc. yet this happens. My pc was working 100% ever since i bought it and it doesn't even have an anti-virus, i get one of those forced windows updates that restart your computer and now everything keeps on freezing and i can't even close the pages or anything.

I was lucky enough to log in NB for some reason, but everything else turned to shit as soon as the update was done a few minutes ago

I am almost convinced that Microsoft created viruses to screw people over, so that they profit off people buying new pc's and antiviruses >_> It's shady marketing business, it's too obvious. I do hope it's not a virus and my pc will fix itself later on, but it's probably their way of saying: your time is up buddy, go buy a new pc, MMmmm... Moneeey... >_>

I've had plently of updates before, and it worked fine, until this one that is.

Restore your system to a previous point with System Restore. Fixed most of the stuff I fuсked up when I was using Win 7.

This ^^^ fixes most problems. If not then reset your pc. If reseting doesn't work then reinstall windows by choosing recovery setting option(don't suggest to go with this first, it cleans everything, u might even just get back the original windows version that came with your pc)

All of the above is correct. Also you can't just assume that it's a virus, before jumping to conclusions you should at least take it to a professional so they can check or if you have a friend that knows computers that also works.
