| Personality Gray has a laid back personality, but he will often get serious when the time calls for it. Gray was quite obstinate and reckless when he was younger. Overtime, he has attained a more cautious attitude towards life and deals with problems carefully. He is really concerned about his comrades but tends to trash talk every now and then. Also, he has a disturbing habit of unconsciously removing his clothes at inappropriate moments.

'Background Information'
History
Gray was born i Kirigakure, at a very young age he was left alone as an orphan when his parents were killed by a evil beast. As he wandered alone he met a great shinobi named Ur. Ur was very skilled at ice jutsu and when Gray bothered her enough, Ur had no choice but to take him in as an apprentice along with another boy, Lyon who was in the same situation as Gray. Ur was tough but as time passed she became like a mother to the boys.
The boys grew stronger over time, under Ur's teachings. Though things took a fateful turn when the evil monster who had taken Lyon and Gray's family's suddenly attacked the village. Gray lost his cool hearing that the same creatue who took his parents was there, within his reach. He dashed away towards the beast and screamed as he charged it ready to kill, but as the beast turned to him, he froze in fear, the beast went to strike but Ur swept in just in time and saved Gray from certain death. She told Lyon and Gray to stay back as she would deal with the beast. She knew this creature was too strong, it had to be killed here and now. As she realized what had to be done, she cast a forbidden jutsu "Ice Shell", a technique that wen used, destroys the users body and completely freezes their enemy in an indestructible ice for all of time. A moment before her technique released, she told Gray to "step into the future,since she would seal his darkness." and with that the jutsu activated and Ur died and froze the huge beast for all eternity.
After that incident Lyon blamed Gray for Ur's death and they would not meet again for many years. Gray on the other hand did as Ur asked and stepped into the future, leaving his past behind and all his demons in the past. He left Kirigakure and moved to Sunagakure, a different place then his home, but different just might be what he needed at this point. Gray vowed to get stronger, no longer for the sake of killing the beast that once took his family and now his master. But to protect those who he holds dear to him. So that no one else must sacrifice their life for his ever again.
