Looks: Gray's most prominent feature is his spiky black-colored hair. He has black eyes, and his body is toned and very muscular.
After one of his battles with Zero, he gets a scar on his forehead above his left eye that is only partially covered by his hair. He has a tattoo below his collarbone on his right pectoral muscle and dark blue in color.
Gray is also a fashion victim. He spends lots of time in trying to find diferent cloths that would suit him. Gray does not consistently wear the same type of clothes (that is, when he is wearing some), though he is often shown wearing some kind of white coat. Yet, he is so awesome mainly because of his hair-style. Gray has spiky black hair with a blue tint. His hair hangs over both sides of his face to roughly frame his cheeks.
Still, his most consistent piece of clothing is his necklace, which looks like a sword with a stone in it, and a metal bracelet and similar chain attached to his pants.

All I wanted was to live a peaceful live living as normal person, but I guess that’s not possible. They say our clan is dark, cursed, the beginning of a long chain of hatred. But it wasn't always like this. There was once a time where life was good. It seems like nothing more than a dream now, this is the reality. Come... let me tell of my pain.
Our country was in the midst of a civil war where, different sides battled each other. They were hiring ninjas to split blood instead of them. I never understood this kind of things – I was taught that if one has a problem with somebody, they deal with it hand to hand on the arena. Yet ninjas were fighting for people whom they did not know, for reasons they were not told, for money they would soon spend, and all this cost the life of many of my comrades. My mum, like many other women from our clan, was a ninja. At the time, I though she was a good one, maybe even the best after my father, but not it seems to me that she was careless, weak, compared to what I’ve seen during my pathetic life. She as many others, joined sides and battled during the civil war. But it could not be helped. We did not have much money. There were periods when I hadn’t eaten for 3 or even more days. Maybe that’s one of the reasons I didn’t blame my mother for joining the battle. Thinking that she was that tough, I though she could never die, never get hurt. I still remember the day like it was yesterday when my father brought her body into our home, lifeless, all in blood and all this because she fought for a guy called Gato. And that’s when I decided that I should get my revenge on him, no matter what price I will pay, no matter how blood I will split, no matter how many lives I will take.
From that moment on, I forgot about everything else. I forgot what joy is, what hanging out with friends is, what happiness is. All I did was training, finally decided to embrace who I truly am – a ninja from the Yuki clan. Truth is, I never wanted to be a ninja. All I wanted was to live a nice peaceful life, maybe even get married, but all it’s lost now. After my mother’s death, my father who was more skilled than anybody from our clan became an avenger… Before that, he never wanted to get into a fight, but now all he did was fighting, killing. After the end of the civil war my father continued killing people, everyone who is connected somehow to Gato. Yet, all the murders showed people how truly dangerous our Kekei Genkai was. So this when people began being afraid of us. What my father did was something that he called justice. What he did not realize was that people are driven to revenge in the name of justice. But if revenge is called justice, then that justice breeds yet more revenge....and becomes a chain of hatred. The families of the people he killed declared a war to our clan. Maybe war isn’t the proper word to be used here, as it was pure annihilation. I stood by there, seeing how my friends and comrades were suffering and dying, just because of my father’s obsession to get his revenge. I could not take any more pain and suffering so I decided to leave the Land of Water and never to return until I become strong, strong enough to face Gato and get my so desired revenge…
I started wonder around the ninja world, trying to find someone to train me. I walked for days, but it’s rather hard to find someone to teach you anything. By that time I had only some basic skills that the beginners in the real ninja academies had. I knew back then that I was weak, helpless to confront anyone if needed. Soon my food was over and I did not have any money to buy one. I knocked on one door to the next, but no one would give me food. I kept walking from town to town, determined to become stronger, but soon the hunger overwhelmed me. Out of stravation, I fell onto the ground. I was sure that I was going to die back then. But like a ray of light in my endless darkness of pain, a savior had arrived to my assistance. I felt how my body was being picked up and the last thing I heard before I closed my eyes was “Don’t worry, you will be fine…”
I soon walked in an old shack. I tried to stand up but I was so tired and so hungry that I could not do so. I then saw a large piece of bread on the table next to my bed. I quickly took the bread before someone saw me and ate it. The pain was now over, I was satisfied. Soon after I ate the piece of bread I realized that I didn’t remember walking to there and then I remembered about the voice telling me I would be fine. Suddenly, someone walked through the door. The stranger had a spiky black hair and was rather short. That’s when I met Zero. He was an orphan from the Land of Earth. From that moment on he became my best friend. Zero was a ninja just like me and yet, unlike me he had already found a sensei to teach him. He gladly agreed to introduce me to her once she returns from her mission. Until then, we had to take care of each other.
For my surprise, Zero was very good at stealing. I was not that keen on stealing but times were difficult and this was the only way of surviving for people like us. I was very happy that I found a friend, even though I would have dropped any friendship if I had chance to kill Gato. Few weeks past until zero’s sensei returned. At the beginning she didn’t want to take me as a student…I felt stupid, thinking only what was wrong with me. I started living with them as she was feeling sorry for me. It was horrible, watching my friend learning jutsu every single day while I go around, doing what the sensei told me. I was angry and desperate but could not do anything about it, I had to be patient…One day after getting them food, I was attacked by an Iwagakure ninja who beat the crap out of me to steal the food. Zero’s sensei, seeing how pathetic I was, agreed to take me as her student. And that’s how my training with Akiza and Zero began.
She taught us well and fast, although there was one thing I didn’t like about this – she wanted us to train naked, even when it was freezing cold. I guess it was a good think I was from the Yuki clan so I felt good naked. Although it seemed childish to me because I had to get trained as fast as possible and goofing around like that only slowed me down. Getting naked during training became a habit to me so I often took off my clothes on public places, making it so embarrassing for Akiza and Zero. Yet, the trainings were exhausting, very exhausting…After several weeks I wanted to go back to bringing food to her. But I had a goal, an ambition, a promise to myself that I had to fulfil, so there was no going back. Soon afterwards, when we became much stronger Akiza decided to have some fun. Her plan was to take only 1 student. So she made us fight each other and that student would have been the one who wins the fight. It was a very difficult decision for Zero if he should fight or not as neither of us wanted to face each other. Yet, my goal kept me on going so I challenged him. After a very bloody battle, the last man standing was me, so Zero had to leave for good. I felt sorry for him, I felt really bad as I had just beaten the guy who saved my life and the guy who introduced me to the sensei. For my surprise, he smiled and told me that we would still be friends and that he wasn’t mad of me. Than he took of, dedicating his life to beat me. That’s the moment when we became rivals. I trained with Akiza for several more months and then when I decided I have nothing more to learn from her, I leaved. The good bye with this wonderful person that I was living with for so many months was hard, but I had no choice, I hade to move on…
I once again, started walking for days and then weeks. This time was easier as Akiza gave me some money so I could buy food, but I was also taught how to hunt so food wasn’t really the problem this time. During my trip, I met some awesome people whom I fought many times during my traveling. One of those people was Jinbei, an Iwagakure shinobi who easily defeated me. At the moment I saw him I recognized him – he was the one who stole my food back in the days when I was taking orders from Akiza. I didn’t tell him, nor I was mad because if it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be at this level I am now. Other guys whom I met during my traveling were Yamato and Gobi. They both became very good friends with me but nothing close to like Zero, whom I hadn’t talked to months. I kept walking and walking and soon reached Amegakure. I was surprised to find my father there whom I though was dead. Our relationship wasn’t like before, nothing like before I’d say. I was angry at him as he was the reason for people to start the discrimination against our clan. To make things right, he decided to teach me the Rain element as he had originated from Amegakure. It took me months to master everything but at the end I was complete…
I left Amegakure and finally decided to go to the Land of Water and confirm Gato and his assassins. One day while I was walking through a huge forest, I heard a huge explosion, coming from somewhere close. I quickly ran out there to check out what’s happening. I soon reached and saw Zero hanging on a tree, half-dead. The whole battle ground was destroyed. There was not even a single tree left. I then saw a tall man with spiky blonde hair coming at us. I immediately understood that he was the man who did this to Zero. I was angry but at the same time kinda pleased as I’d had the chance to try out the new techniques I had so I started firing the guy with every stronger jutsu I was in possession. As the techniques were about to reach him, I though “Hey I got him.” But then, just as fast as my techniques reached the guy, they were blown away. I was amazed at how good he was. After the dust was blown away I saw there was nobody there. And then in a yellow flash, he appeared in front of me. His eyes were strange, fearsome but at the same time beautiful. It was the Rinnegan. Yet, I couldn’t look at the eyes for more time because he punched me so hard that I found myself right next to Zero who just began to wake up. Once again, I woke up at a place I did not recognize. Yet this time it was a nice cosy house and this time there wasn’t just bread and water next to me, there was a very good-smelling fish, just waiting there for me to eat it. I gladly accepted it when Zero and the blonde guy came in. I was very frightened as this guy was amazingly strong. Zero quickly explained to me that this was his Sensei who taught him jutsu. I was wondering why Zero was hanging on the tree half-dead and just when I was about to ask him, the creepy voice said “Because I kicked him”. Me and zero quickly catch up while drinking the whole night. As soon as we were about to fall asleep, the tall guy screamed “Training begins.” I was amazed that he wanted to take me as a student. Yet, I could not accept – I had other stuff to deal with. He quickly explained that my way of fighting is horrible as I was just releasing some random techniques at the opponent. I gladly accepted to be trained so once again me and zero started training together. Yet this was much more harder than Akiza’s training and I was a bad learner. We learned the arts of battling in a way that nobody else would teach it, a way that is probably forbidden in most countries (except the land of water at the time). After several months we were very good at what we were doing. We felt invincible and yet, this quickly changed…
After a while, Crutch decided that we are ready to “fly away” as he taught us everything he could. Me and my companion walked towards the Land of Water so I could finally get my so wanted revenge. When we arrived, we found out that Gato was dead. Everyone seemed to talk about how the fearsome Zabuza killed him and then was killed by a Jounin called Kakashi and 3 konoha gennins. I didn’t know how to feel. My only regrets were that he didn’t die by my hand and that he didn’t suffer enough and yet, I was pleased. I could now continue my life without living for the sole purpose of revenge. I could finally start enjoying the little things in the life that made normal people happy. I was released by the chain of hatred, that has kept me on going for so many years…
Time passed and me and Zero were living normal life full of joy. One day, we saw that there was a tournament for ninjas where the award was a big amount of Kumi. We were short of cash so we signed up. We kept winning and winning until he had to face in the finals. After a very good, long and exhausting fight, I was once again the winner. We both received a money award and we decided to celebrate. We got terribly drunk into a local bar where a stranger congratulated us for the good fight in the finals. We didn’t know him but apparently he knew much about us. He offered us to join his organization called Akatsuki. We joined as we had no idea what to do with our lives and skills on the battle arena. And you should know that life is hard for shinobis with no country to serve. So that’s how we met The Pervy Sage or Dan if you prefer. We were glad to find out that some of our friends like Gobi and Minato were in this organization. So we soon started going on missions in pair of two. My partner was a guy called Eddy. I never really got the chance to get to know him as he was quite mysterious guy, but we did our job right. At the beginning I thought we were doing a good thing but that soon changed. We were glad to find out that some of our friends like Gobi and Minato were in this organization. So we soon started going on missions in pair of two. My partner was a guy called Eddy. We started killing people for some random reasons and sometimes I didn’t even know the reasons. Soon, I realized that this was just like the civil war. We fought for someone, whose motives were unclear for us. So soon, me and Zero left the organization as we couldn’t bare more murders and blood.
Some time passed and me and Zero took on different paths. I was advised by my old friend Yamato to join Konohagakure. I’ve heard over the years that it was a nice place to stay and that it was a peaceful village. And indeed it was. Zero on the other hand wanted to go back to his born place – Iwagakure. So that’s how mine and zero’s path split up. I loved Konoha from the first time I entered. Everything was so green and everyone was so welcoming.
