Hello!
I bought today an Asus Radeon HD 5450 - link:
but it doesnt want to work. It just makes a "Click" sound thats it. The PC will remain on, the fans will move etc, but the display wont work... nothing, it even doesnt show BIOS.

My motherboard :

I know that my motherboard has PCI-E 1 x16, but i also know that newer PCI-E versions will work with older if they are are the same type like PCI-E 2.1 x16 will work with PCI-E 1 x16. The graphics card is PCI-E 2.1 x16. but it cant be the mistake cause my old graphics card was also newer PCI-E 2.0x16.

My PSU is EZCOOL 350W/230V, there is also written on the PSU: "JSP-350P12A".

I myself think that the fault is in my PSU. If anyone wants i can send them PICS!

Arigato!

There's compatibility issues with 2.1; you need a 2.0 version.

The people in that thread demonstrate a lack of actual knowledge when they say "it should work."

The reality is that 2.1 has issues with older motherboards, like yours.

Is your graphics card supported by the motherboard. Make sure it is because it happened to me once and i had to return it.
Or else maybe try it with a 500W PSU...

You can post as many links as you like, it doesn't change anything. Even in that one, the reply states that he used 2.0.

Your PSU is fine.

See the motherboard is most likely the case...
I bought a Radeon HD 5670 for my 945GCT and it was incompatible, so i had to compromise for Nvidia gt 430
