Graphic Tablet vs Mouse

Which do you prefer when GFX'ing? - When doing signatures or avatars?

I like the mouse, gets the job faster done, though with few exceptions.

Graphic tablet is extremely useful for smudging, lineart and coloring. Pretty difficult with a mouse.

A tablet would be nice to have but not needed.

Neither...I use my laptop's touch pad. It gets the job done.

It depends on what I'm doing, if I'm smudging then I only use my tablet. If I'm making any other kind of tag I mostly use my mouse. But if I already have my pen in my hand I just use my tablet, if I am using illustrator then I only use my tablet as well. I feel like I have better control in AI with my tablet.
