Barney and Panthalassa followed the mountainous path, overlooking the canyon beneath them which was covered in such a thick mist that one could not see the end of it. From its depths various creatures howled and growled as if they were aware of their presence. They didn't slow down much and hastily continued onward.

Gilgamesh arose from his slumber. It seemed he had spent most the night enjoying the swills of the common folk. He figured some travelling would do some good to help relieve some of his boredom.

Summary: Arya starts to gather ore for Marzan.

Arya arrives at the next landmark. She heard about a deep canyon that is the deepest in the world. She had to see if for it herself plus she was on a small journey to gather ore. What other place in the world than the place with the deepest canyon. It could be perfect to see what it has for her. The young lady looked around and the mist was thick. She couldn’t see far in front of her so she kept on guard on everything around her. She starts walking in the canyon.

“Hmm”

She stays close to the left side of the canyon. She places her hand along the mountains that create the canyon. She steps on water so if there is something in this canyon she will be heard but also she could hear others if they are approaching her. She was walking for a good thirty minutes and nothing stood out to her.

“Maybe I should start digging through the mountains to find ore. The feel of the mountain and look of them are just the same, nothing but rock and stone. Nothing really unique besides that.”

She gets angry and does a right hook directly at the mountain. The mountain doesn’t bunch, not even a crack and she hurts her hand in the process but not so much that it causes any injuries. She holds her right hand with her left and yells,

“Ouch!”

The sound of her yelling alerts some animals of a new prey. They all rush to the location of the sound. The animals all stand in the mist at the top of the mountain directly in front of her but she can’t see them because of the distance they are standing. She can only see short range around her so mid to long range fighting is out of the plan with her. She had already made up her mind that if she was to have to fight she would be at a disadvantage.

Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply use one of his hands to deliver a simple punch by clenching his fist and swinging his arm. The user is free to do variations of a basic frontal punch and the technique though simple, can be deadly for strong users.

She continues her scroll deeper into the canyons and comes to a stop after twenty more minutes of walking.

“Okay here is where I will start.”

She takes her left arm and creates two tendrils of wood. The wood is released into a pushing motion that spins around one another into the mountain like a spear. She drives the arm forward creating more pushing force and breaks into the mountain. She smiles at the excitement of what she could find in such a place. Before she could go in further after driving the tendrils into the mountain for nine minutes she is attacked by something. It hits her and disappears into mid range with the other two. She stopped and dislocated the tendrils from her arm. She starts to passively heal herself from her injury.

Level 1:
Done passively, this allows the user to heal small to moderate injuries. These include things like small cuts to broken digits and bruises as well as bleeding. These involve injuries that result from taijutsu attacks to minor wounds such as stabs in limbs, some broken bones as well as internal bleeding, slight organ tears. This is for none life threatening wounds and heals up to 30 damage

She turns around looking for whatever it was that hit her. She kept her back against her hole she created in the mountain. Whatever it was out there she didn’t want to be caught off guard. She clapped her hands together. This creates a detection barrier around her which she expands to the maximum range. She can sense there are three individuals directly in front of her while two of them are going in separate directions. It was like a wolf pack aiming to surround their target. They burst towards her with immense(14) speed. She couldn’t move in time so she makes a few hand seals and takes out wires which she creates a dome around herself. This completely protects her from the animal’s attack on her. She can still sense the animals and their targets by changing the dome from defense to restraint. She aims to restrain them but only manages to capture one of them. It tries to get out but can’t. She focuses on the other two. The other two leapt out of her sight but she looked towards the one she caught and it was some kind of lion but more monstrous. She had to fend off these lion things and continue her search. She creates a clone that forms from her body. It would look like wood when it forms but changes to look just like her. It would take the task of looking for the ore as she defends against the monsters.

(Moku Bunshin no Jutsu) – Wood Clone Technique

Description: The user creates clones of themselves made of wood that then sprout out of their body or are created from any nearby source of Wood, Earth or Water. These clones, however, are quite special as they maintain a mental connection to the user, communicating back to him even from long distances. An advanced use of this technique is to transform the clones into seeds that, once implanted or swallowed allow the user to track an enemy (that has it implanted or ingested it) by pinpointing his position through the same mental connection. Versatile, these clones can use Wood techniques as well as Earth and Water techniques up to S-Rank. This technique, when created by Uchiha Madara, creates clones with EMS/Rinnegan and capable of using the EMS/Rinnegan techniques like Madara himself.

The clone named Sansa. She would go behind Arya’s back and create three tendrils that spin together like a drill from her left hand. This she drives into the mountain in the same location. This technique she uses now, unlike Arya's, is stronger. Arya wanted to take her time but the clone didn’t want to waste anymore time based on these monsters attacking Arya. There could be other things in this area and they had to get a move on.

Arya on the other hand stands there “sensing” the two monsters as they circle her. She doesn’t move as she can sense them but as if she can see them. She looks in each of their directions. The monsters rush her again but this time they spin towards her like that of the Inuzuka clan. She leaps up out of the way while grabbing the clone by her collar. The two monsters hit into the mountain causing more of the mountain to open up but this also causes the mountain to start caving in on itself since one of the monsters hit the exterior of the mountain with so much force it vibrated through the mountain causing the collapse. They had barely missed the Stark duo. The Starks wanted to go all out since at that very moment they could clearly see both of the monsters in front of them. Sansa states,

“Damn it they caused the mountain collapse. We need to get rid of them quickly before they mess up anything else.”

Arya nodded as she looked upon the two monsters with anger. The young Stark girl was furious with what had just happened. Her true nature comes out, something she had picked up on her journey in life. Sansa makes five hand seals and Arya takes out a scroll that she uses to summon a fire explosive dragon. Sansa creates an earth dragon. They both attack one of the monster lions. The two dragons cause more of the mountain to cave in but the ladies weren’t worried about it; they have a plan for that. The monsters were under rocks causing more damage. There was no movement at all. The duo started celebrating but there was something lurking in the distance outside of the range of her barrier.

Description: The user through use of one their scrolls will summon a large flame dragon that is directed towards the enemy target and explodes upon impact.

The duo walk towards the cave and start to pick up the rocks. Arya stops and looks over at the clone and say,

“I got this”

The clone disperses into planks. Arya performs six hand seals and creates a snake of water. The snake is created on her right side which she leaps backwards. The snake launches itself into the cave of rocks and disperses into a river of water which takes a lot of the rocks with it. She starts digging and can see she picked the right spot. It was tons of ore but most of them just broke under just her raw strength in her fist when she clinched them in her fist. She takes out a kunai and stabs others, most of whom have scratches but two of them.

“These two here are what I need. Now I need more of them.”


Arya takes out a scroll and seals the ore in it. She heads out but at the same time she turns off her barrier technique and the something that was in the distance can be seen as two individuals. She still hasn’t sensed their presence at all. She leaves the area and landmark. The two figures follow her and one of them say,

“We will follow her because she has that ability.”

(Suiton: Ja No Kuchi) - Water Release: Water Snakes Mouth

Description: After performing the required handseals: Monkey → Rat → Tiger → Dragon → Horse → Dragon, it then allows the user to generate a spinning column of water which will take the form of a snake with a gaping jaw. This snake can twist and follow its targets and swallow them. After it has swallowed them, it turns into a river that carries the enemy away.

This Technique allows the user to seal any weapons they wish being their own or opponents.

Arriving at the infamous Grand Divide, Shirou would let out a deep sigh. The task at hand would be a demanding one, even if it was merely just physical effort. The decision to obtain the ore from this particular area was to be expected. Not only was the Grand Divide the deepest canyon in the world, it was a landmark under Shirou's control, making it the perfect first area. Shirou would approach the edge, looking deep into it's depth. He contemplated jumping down and decreasing the damage he would receive from the fall at some point, but the thick mist obscured his depth perception. As such, he would draw two birds and hop on their backs, with one foot on each. In addition to that, Shirou would produce 10 helper creatures to illuminate the way down.

Description: A technique that creates numerous(up to 10) little solid flying orb like creatures(max size is 5 cm radius). These creatures are sentient and there offensive/defensive prowess are, as individual creatures, not impressive. However, there supplementary prowess is what sets them apart. Each Tesla, being composed of fire, produces light. The power of the light can be controlled by each Tesla, at will, ranging from the lowest visible to ultraviolet. The light can reach mid range distance from the Tesla. The light can be used tactically to, for example, suddenly blind an opponent for one turn by increasing the power of the light from low to high. This ability is only effective in terrains with low visibility/light and it is usable 4 times per battle. The ultraviolet light can, under the presence of glass(usually bulbs with openings carried by the user), be used to produce black light. Mostly for cosmetic reasons. If used to blind, it lasts for 1 turn.
-Usable 3 times per battle with a turn interval between use.
-Lasts for 2 turns.

The birds would circle about in synchronisation, descending with Shirou on their back and the orbs flying in the parameter. Soon enough however, the leisurely descent would be interrupted by two shadows flickering in front of Shirou's face. They would soon be followed by one bigger one, putting the Nara on high alert. The creatures that roamed the canyon would seem intent on making an appearance, prompting the Nara to take defensive action. Acting swiftly, he would attempt to bind the animals, preventing any shenanigans from occurring. But as it transpired, only the two smaller winged beasts would be affected, having their movement locked and falling from the sky.

(Kanashibari no Jutsu) - Temporary Body Paralysis Technique

Description: Kanashibari no Jutsu is a simple Ninjutsu technique used to temporarily bind an animal (or animals). With the target frozen in place, the ninja can either take the opportunity to attack or to retreat. It can only be used against animal (summons or not) and works by forcefully using your chakra to restrain the summon physically by holding it in place. It can, however, be broken by outside means or brute force, making it less effective against bigger summons like boss summons or similar.
Note: lasts only as long as the user is focusing on the target to sustain it.

The larger creature was more resilient, being unaffected by the technique. It dived towards Shirou in retaliation, trying to take his head off. But, to the creature's dismay, it was not the MC of this mission. Shirou would create 4 large arms on his sides, utilzing them to grab ahold of the creature, pinning it in mid air as the arms apply more pressure in opposing directions. The creature would have it's wings ripped off, with the main body still being held. The body would hopefully serve as a deterrent to other creature's that dared to attempt something similar.

(Kage no Sento: Akuma no fujiyu amuzu) | Shadow Combat: Crippled Arms of a Demon

Description: This is one of the abilities that the practioners of Shadow Combat learn when they are introduced to the fighting style. A text book ability that it is, it involves using the user's shadow to shape manipulate it to form huge grey-black demonic hands that emerge from the user's body. The user channels his shadow chakra throught his body before releasing it from the sides of his body and back, to create huge arms that extends from the body. The arms are larger than normal human hands (twice their length) and are located two on the user's either sides and two on his back. They look more like a giant's arm. The arms being composed of shadow chakra, are made quite strong; in a sense that they have similar properties of strength like "Earth Spear Technique" enabling them an upper hand in close range combat. Using a technique to pierce or destroy the arms would be quite difficult. The hands are all webbed, allowing the user to swim in water at very high speeds. Normal human have a very slow swimming speed as their body is not specifically made for such activities. However with these additional webbed limbs, the user can easily compete the fastest mammals in water. Each hand can easily cover up the user's half body, protecting him against the opponent's techniques. Once the user grabs the opponent, he can form a handseal and cause multiple shadow spikes (up to 2 meters) to emerge from these hands that would pierce the opponent's skin, into his body and cause more harm (20 chakra, 40 damage, requires another move slot). These spikes are similar to "Shadow Sewing Technique", in the sense that they can bend and twist according to the user's wishes. These spikes can reach up to long range from the the shadow arm (20 meters) so as to catch the target.

Soon enough, Shirou would land, tossing the carcass of the creature aside. The orbs of fire would be in the perimeter, illuminating the terrain and the body, warning any other prey from approaching. Now to the objective at hand, Shirou would start digging, making use of his shadow hands to rip through the earth and remove chunks of the terrain. The process would be long but effective, digging at an increasingly faster pace as more of the earth is turned and chucked away. Eventually, Shirou would start reaching the areas of the earth he deemed of high quality, prompting him to carefully curate which portion of the earth he wanted to excavate. Not long after, Shirou would locate the ore piece he was looking for, resulting in him meticioulslcy extracting it without damaging it or the section of earth it was located in. Shirou would emerge from the deep hole he had created with his ore held in hand. He would toss some of the dirt back into the hole, before instructing the birds to continue doing the rest.

With his task completed, Shirou would get on his birds and start moving upwards to leave the area. He would have kept his techniques in play, in case any of the creatures dared to attack him again.

This post contains a mission using the following Custom Story Elements.

Find and gather ore to forge a God Slaying Tool. (3)​

Summary: After his encounter with a pair of Arali in the Graveyard of Sin Emiya approaches his goal more cautiously. Finding himself in a region that has seemingly become a second home to Arali, he searches for ore while trying not to disturb the locals.




Appearing in a flash of ethereal energy, displacing the air around him in a fleetingly turbulent swirl, Emiya reasons that he's traveled far enough for the Arali he ran into earlier to not become a problem any time soon. Taking a look around he had arrived on a rather steep slope that continued up for another hundred meters or so. This was instantly more promising than the more desolate ruined lands of the Graveyard, but as to how much more promising? He climbed further up the mountainous terrain to find out. Standing atop the ridge, he saw another rocky cliff face. Shaking his head and allowing it to drop in frustrated irony, Emiya then lazily teleported to the top of the mountain. There, standing atop one of the many mountains that surrounded the Grand Divide, and not even the largest among them either, once again Emiya was in awe at the sheer devastation caused by the Cataclysm. Though it was hard to "ruin" something that was already itself a massive scar upon the planet's face. If anything it accentuated the massive chasm, but with that thought a realization occurred. With the massive canyon, and the additional damage caused with Eanna's fall, he was certain there would be plenty of new sources of ore to find on the walls of the canyon, if not from the splintering from the earth, then maybe from the shards of the celestial body. It was all going to be melted down into the same alloy anyway, so the source and composition of the ore wasn't really that important.

Leaping down the mountain, as Emiya got closer to the Divide itself, the more he started to sense a massive collection of souls within it's depths. This in itself wasn't very alarming, but as he got closer he began to hear echoes of distant signing coming from within. It could have simply been the winds rushing through the chasm, but he had his suspicions, and as he got closer they were all but confirmed. This collection of beings were singing together in perfect unison in a language Emiya couldn't understand, identically to the Arali from before. He didn't know it, but deep within the depths of the Divide was a new home for displaced and escaped Arali, and few among them were the exotic and bestial Utukku, hence the faintest traces of a song. He could only sense the souls and nothing more beyond that, but the fact that so many were gathered? It seemed as though the Divide was now occupied by a large collection of Arali.

Where he stumbled into a scuffle with them previously, Emiya wanted to avoid pissing off an entire gathering of Arali with his presence if he could. To this end, rather than stumbling blindly through the canyon looking for ore, Emiya actually devised a more subtle, direct plan. He hopefully wouldn't need to trespass or get too close to the Divide's deepest reaches to get what he wanted. Walking up to the edge of the Divide Emiya started to weave three seals together, and began channeling special thermal accoustic sound waves out into the walls of the chasm, reaching far enough to cast a wide enough net to scan for ore, but not to affect anything further than a 30m radius. As everything in the world has it's own resonant frequency, these waves were set to an amplitude and frequency so as to resonate with metals and ores found within the walls of the chasm itself.

Description: Another basic application of Rhythm Release, Resonance of Chaos has the user perform three hand seals, Snake → Horse → Tiger, before gathering moderate to large amounts of Rhythm Release Chakra and channelling it into a chosen medium through direct contact, the maximum size of which depends on the amount of Chakra gathered, or to be more specific, the Rank the user performs this technique as. For the B-Rank usage, this Jutsu can affect an area of up to 10m. For the A-Rank usage, this Jutsu can affect an area of up to 20m. For the S-Rank usage, this Jutsu can affect up to and beyond a 30m radius, easily capable of altering, affecting and destroying an entire landscape (Can affect a large portion of a Landmark within the Ninja World). Once the user has selected the rank, chosen their targeted medium, and begun to channel their Chakra into it, they then go about altering and manipulating the frequency and amplitude of their Rhythm Release Chakra, tuning it to the "resonant frequency" of their selected medium. This causes the chosen medium to quickly break down, shattering from the inside out thanks to the vibrations resonating and rebounding within it, as well as burn, melt, boil, scorch, etc, thanks to those same vibrations generating massive amounts of thermal energy. The exact results depend on what the user targets with this technique, and naturally this Jutsu can only be used on solid physical objects, surfaces, constructs, etc. For example, the user could make the ground beneath their feet a hazard for others to walk on by maintaining a constant flow of Rhythm Release Chakra into it, or they could cause a structure to collapse in on itself, trapping, even potentially killing anyone within it at the time, including themselves if they are not careful. If the user maintains this Jutsu, they cannot perform other techniques, even Rhythm Release Jutsu, because they must sustain the constant flow from themselves into the chosen medium, leaving no chance to perform other techniques, without breaking off their usage of this technique. However, even if the user doesn't "maintain" this Jutsu, it's effects and the way it affects the land persist for up to 2 turns, unless properly countered, such as with a large body of water. Finally, since this technique can affect a wide range of objects, surfaces, constructs, etc, the user must, using proper logic, fully explain how this Jutsu affects the chosen medium, the potential ways it affects the environment, opponent, themselves, etc, wherever applicable.

Note: A-Rank usage is limited to a max of 3 times per battle/event. The S-Rank usage is limited to a max of 1 time per battle/event. Additionally, if the user performs the A-Rank usage, they cannot perform this Jutsu for 2 turns. If they perform the S-Rank usage, they cannot perform Rhythm Release in their next turn.
Note: Can be maintained for a max of 3 turns.

Ten. Twenty. Fifty. A hundred. Deeper and deeper Emiya walked down the side of the Divide, hearing more and more depth and substance of the Arali's aria. Though the meaning was lost on him, the intent was received loud and clear. This was their home. They were safe here. Emiya couldn't agree more, and realized that he was was slowly beginning to encroach upon "their" territory. He began to ascend when he noticed a glowing orange-ish patch of rock on the face only a dozen meters or so to his right. With a smile he approached the patch, knowing exactly what to expect on the other side.

With a hand hovering just above the surface of the Divide's walls just like before Emiya poured raw Prana directly into the surface of the cliff's face. With a crackling azure light the wall's face was sent to the Throne, and then soon after the raw ore that had been heated by Emiya's Rhythm Chakra. Bubbling and boiling molten metal was instantly sent hurtling through space time to be kept in stasis within Emiya's extra-dimensional pocket within the Throne.

The Surge of Evocation is the usage of Prana in its raw and unrefined form; whatever this Prana touches is transformed into ethereal energy and transported to the Throne. Prana will neutralize and be neutralized by techniques that possess the same amount of chakra. Similarly it will be useless against attacks of greater chakra and will not be weakened by techniques of lower chakra. However when used on living targets this ambient energy will feel extremely frigid to the touch and induce cold burns on contact or even freeze a target solid for higher ranked applications. D to B-Rank uses will inflict cold burns as well as all of the effects of frostbite. A-Rank uses will cause necrosis of the afflicted parts of the body, making them appear dark purple and bruised to signify the death of cells. Affected appendages and organs will cease to function, becoming completely immobile in the case of limbs. S rank uses will freeze the struck targets solid. In the case of Surgebinders, who are immune to all of the above effects, they will be transported to the Throne when struck by the prana of another member of their clan. Era of Gods can be split into three separate applications, all based on the same principle: constructs, armors, and familiars made of prana energy.

Pride of Gilgamesh – Gates of Babylon
The Pride of Gilgamesh allows the user to produce Prana either from the user’s body or on the battlefield. The Prana can only be manifested within short-range of the opponent if the user is also within that range, in which it must be created a minimum of one meter away. This restriction does not apply if the user chooses to release the Prana from their body, rather than manifest it away from themselves. The energy can be released from the body via various hand signs depending on the user's rank in the clan. This can be done to generate constructs bound only by the rank of technique used and one’s imagination; alternatively the user can simplify the application by creating streams, waves, and constructs of Prana. Manifested Prana is capable of taking solid form, granting tangibility at the user’s volition. Non-projectile uses of this technique are capable of levitating and can be governed through mental commands and a sustained chakra cost. B-Ranks and below are sustained through 5 chakra per turn, A-Ranks and above require 10 chakra per turn. A-Rank and S-Rank constructs will last three turns per usage unless they are prematurely cancelled. S-Rank applications can only be used once every two turns and no Prana above A-Rank in the turn after the deactivation of an S-Rank application.

Embrace of Ishtar – Armory of Akkadia
This variant allows the user to manifest armors, auras, and coatings of Prana around their body. This can be used to enshroud a single or multiple body parts in a layer of colored energy. These defenses can be made to fit the body like conventional armors or enveloping it in a formless manner. The first type can be created with additional limbs and appendages such as wings which enable flight. The user can also constantly reshape it and create small-scale weapons from the body of the armor, though at the cost of one of the user's three moves. It should be noted that these constructs remain attached to the main body of the armor and so act as an extension of it. The second type generates a “flowing aura” that appears to flicker like an open flame. This aura is often made as an upwards column that is streamed into the sky with its base remaining around the user. It should be noted that its power is not split or divided as all of the Prana energy is part of one whole. The armors can exhibit tangibility, although this does not hinder the user’s techniques and their passing which can freely move in and out of the armor per the user’s will. B-Rank and below applications require being sustained with 5 chakra per turn while A and S Ranks require 10 chakra per turn. A-Rank and S-Rank applications can last a maximum of three turns, with A-Ranks usable thrice per battle and S-Ranks twice per battle. After an S-Rank application expires the user is unable to utilize Prana above A-Rank for a single turn.

Divinity of Merlin – Garden of Avalon
The Divinity of Merlin allows the user to produce Prana in the same way as the Pride of Gilgamesh and can be shaped in the same way, limited by rank and imagination. However, unlike the Pride of Gilgamesh which creates static constructs the Divinity of Merlin creates constructs imbued with a limited form of sentience – familiars. These familiars can be created anywhere on the battlefield, with the exception of short-range of the opponent unless the user is also within that range; in this case the familiar cannot be created within two meters of the opponent. This restriction does not apply if the user chooses to release the Prana from their body. Familiars are capable of taking numerous shapes, not simply limited to animals. These familiars are also capable of taking solid form at the user’s volition. Familiars are capable of remaining on the battlefield for four turns. B-Ranks and below are sustained through 5 chakra per turn, A-Ranks and above require 10 chakra per turn. S-Rank applications can only be used twice per battle and no Prana above A-Rank in the user’s next turn after deactivation.

Note: The upper echelon of the clan (Servants and above) are capable of using this technique without hand signs for B-rank and below. A-rank will require two hand signs and S-rank requires three.
Note: The lower tier clan members (Phantasms to Guardians) will require 5 to 3 hand seals for all ranks, decreasing as they they ascend in rank.

With a sign of relief that he had averted the potential injury via crushing of some innocent Arali down below, Emiya quickly headed for the top of the Divide. He could still hear the faintest notes of the song from below. Glad that he hadn't disturbed or made an enemy of the locals, Emiya got his bearings and headed out once more. This time he stopped heading North, instead choosing to explore to the West. The Asag Arali had mentioned Irkalla, and Emiya was close enough to at least pay the entrance a visit. Bounding over rises and rocky terrain, Emiya left the region.
