I don't need to have better art to judge a art. We all have different professions. A manga artist isn't mine so why should I try to improve my art in order to judge another art?
My point is that the art should not be called bad because it looks different from Kishimoto's typical style. Not that "if you can't draw, don't have an opinion." Clearly you read what you wanted to read. If anything, by "don't be a critique", I meant, if you don't understand art enough to embrace someone else's style, then don't speak on it. It's like telling a terrier it's doing a bad job of being a dog because it doesn't look enough like a pitbull..
You're literally reinforcing what I said with every post, and you don't even realize it.
With your mindset nothing would ever be critiqued in the slightest.
I'm done here. You've proved my point.
You continue to miss my point. Once again, I didn't say to not critique, I'm saying not to judge one style on the premise of another's. Contrasting styles does not mean one is worse, it just means one is different. LITERALLY the same thing I said in the original post.. If you don't like the art, dislike it for valid reasons, not because it's not what you're used to.
Love how everyone has a negative opinion about the new designs, yet none of you people can even draw a line. Apparently the art is "shit" but we're acting like Kishimoto has had the same art style for all the 15 years. If anything the art is incredibly similar to the part 1 Naruto art style.

You've read part 1 Naruto without a complaint and now because a new style comes in that's different from what you're used to, it's automatically bad?

What?.. That's the anime. It has nothing to do with anything. And almost all of those images are frame shots of moving images. It's like taking a picture of someone mid sneeze. Of course it's not going to look pretty if you capture a small part of a composition. Most of those scenes were animated well.

I'm surprised that sarada didn't get a boost in the boobs department tbh.

You keep posting anime content as if that's relevant to this thread. One, That animation style was an abstract attempt to represent Naruto from a different perspective, particularly one with fast-paced movement. You taking it at face value only shows your lack of enlightenment. Two, it's anime and has nothing to do with my initial point. You must be registered for see images

I didn't start reading the manga until around the war arc. What I meant was that we've all obviously seen early art from Kishimoto, and when we do see it, we don't call it bad because it's different from how it is now. What if Kishimoto never actually got better art-wise? We wouldn't have a problem with the art.Actually I didn't read initial chapters till years later.. as I followed manga only after i caught up with anime.. >_> <_<
And I can draw a line...
And I still don't think think Boruto's art is good. If not for his design ( the attire and the whiskers) I would think it was a new character. Shape of his face, eyes and mouth and their proportion everything is different and it gives a feeling of a fan art mature at the moment. I have seen dounjinshies published on DA that look more original. So of course currently I am not too happy with that image we are seeing.
Saying that well it's a new artist and copying an older artist may not take him too far. It also may not feasible for him to do it on regular basis, so he maybe trying to keep his own style. But we are spoiled with better drawn characters for years. So unless he has something really interesting to add to the verse he is going to be blamed for dragging it down with his art, on top of everything.

I will start complaining if Sarada gets pants.

Using images from a moving frame means little. On top of it in that particular scene artists were trying to show the facial distortion due to high speed.

This is the art people put up calling it an art style and will tell you to be patient with it...
This made me realize that the Naruto fanbase are mostly aesthetic whores.
This is a main reason a majority of us cannot get into one piece.
I'm probably taking this pretty well since u can only see the back of my favs head and Himawari and Hinata aren't shown.
