gotta admit it was pretty bad ass for a non uciha like kakashi to counter itachis quick jutsu and handseal speed even kisame and itachi were surprised their selves. this was in part 1

not trying to start a flame war or anything

You can also clearly noticed that he saw kakashi under the water in which he could have blown up the clone sooner. He was holding but I agree kakashi did an excellent job figuring out the shuriken were a bait.

Kurenai is hyping Itachis jutsu speed on that pic. She didn't notice when Itachi used his jutsu, but Kakashi in the contrary was fast enough to counter it really quickly also, which means she hyped Kakashis jutsu speed without knowing
