Wasn't meant to do damage. The attack worked like Nagashi that is y Sasuke wasn't surprised when if didn't pierce anything. My point is that the attack should have gone straight through the limbo if the attack didn't work, but it encased the limbo. I mean tbh there would be no other reason to use Sage chakra if it didn't affect the Limbo. Sasuke's chidori spear affected Madara just fine.

By affected I meant dealt damage. Even a senjutsu attack would have had the same affect.

First off, 3rd eye Madara is immortal just like Kaguya because he has the God Tree in him, he's immortal, he can regenerate quickly and survive without limbs and can only be defeated by being sealed. So hands down Madara wins that. Madara with rinnegan + senjutsu still beats him, his reflexes are unreal and he can easily dodge Flying Thundee God Technique, he solo'd the tailed beast.
