Is it worth watching? I saw the season two trailer, and Jerome (?) killed it, if he's acting as the Joker, than he's doing a really good. Though, i'm not positvely sure about the first season, I heard some mixed reviews.

Like OP said its a bunch of mixed reviews, but as a huge Batman fan I wanna see my dude in action.

No real chance of seeing Batman until the end of the show, if at all. From the way I see it, it'll be about the development of Gordon into a better cop, and Bruce Wayne into Batman over the course of the series. Which is the route I believe they are taking.

OT:

It's alright. Season 1 was good in the first 2-3 episodes, then it just got worse. Season 2 shows a bit of promise though.

The series is good you should watch it, the series is focused on gotham and not batman sadly but you get to see villians and heros of gotham at their young age and find out what makes them what they are in the future so yeah you should definitely watch it.
