Gotenks is also very muscular, having much more muscle definition than most shinobi from his intense Taijutsu training.

Gotenks' personality is unique, Gotenks is known to be cocky, arrogant and mischievous. Gotenks is a cocky and conceited fighter who believes his power is enough to take on anyone even when he is about to lose a fight, this is likely due to his massive chakra levels. Gotenks loves to be over dramatic, and shows this by giving his attacks ridiculous names to somewhat stylized versions of otherwise normal punches and kicks.

歴史|History
There are two sides to the history. The simplified version and the full story. The simplified version is just a shorter, more compact version of the latter.
Simplified Version
Gotenks does not remember his mother or father, instead the only image of his parents he can seem to remember is a memory from when he was still a newborn. The image is of his parents standing in front of his crib holding hands and looking back on their child with tear filled eyes. This constant reminder of the last time he saw his parents is what pushes Gotenks to become stronger. Throughout his life Gotenks has strived for greatness, never taking pride in anything less than perfect. But his thirst for power has not severed his friendships in the slightest, instead he carries a strong bond with those he calls his friends, using their strength to grow stronger.
Full History
When Gotenks was born, his mother and father stood by his crib and sang to the young child. Unknown to the parents, someone had snuck into the house and was watching them from the other side of Gotenks' bedroom door. When the man stepped into the room the parents tried gallantly to fight, but their efforts were in vain and they both died that night, standing in front of their child's crib and holding hands. Luckily the man decided to spare Gotenks, hoping the child would some day turn into a foe more worth a challenge than his parents.
A couple years later, after Gotenks had turned the age of 10, he graduated from the ninja Academy and began his official ninja training. His first training session was to learn the Fire Element. He began training with a man named Scaze. Scaze quickly realized Gotenks' latent potential with the element and trained him in the arts, but he never got to complete his training with Scaze. After he and Scaze split ways, he met a man by the name of Souji who trained him and completed his fire training. Gotenks enjoyed Souji's training to such an extent that he asked his sensei to train him in water as well, but unlike with fire, Gotenks struggled greatly with the water element and still has not completed its training. His next training session was with Korra in taijutsu. He began liking the training after spending some time practicing and decided to make it his main fighting style, training in its arts day in and day out, hardly resting enough to get his energy. Korra, having been a great teacher, didn't teach at quite the pace Gotenks had wanted, was told that he would no longer be needed to teach Gotenks. Gotenks then asked another sensei, one he was familiar with from his Academy days, to finish his training in Taijutsu. This man was no other than Detective L. L, who admitted himself was not a Taijutsu expert, completed Gotenks' training and helped Gotenks' get a better grasp of Taijutsu.
After having completed Genjutsu, Kenjutsu and Lightning Gotenks decided to slow his training down. Instead of training as intensely every day, he began travelling and watching various fights while developing into a shinobi even the toughest foe would struggle with. He eventually began training again, slowly working on his remaining fields and picking up new tricks along the way. After speaking with the ex-akatsuki member Kakazu, Gotenks learned of a sensei who could teach him how to sense his opponent and quickly ran off to find the sensei Kakazu spoke of...

Taijutsu → Having trained in Taijutsu his whole life and using it as his primary fighting style, Gotenks gained higher agility and physical strength than an ordinary ninja of his rank.
Fire → Gotenks trained in the art of Katon until it was his most proficient element. This allowed him to use all Katon jutsu with faster hand seals
