Yes, and Itachi and ANBU are the same thing as well. But the conflict with wildlings could be compared to Konoha's conflict with the Uchiha. ANBU represent Konoha so are also part of the conflict.

I see. I got a little confused. The Night's Watch don't concern themselves with the politics of the Seven Kingdoms (the 5 nations in your scenario), so it seems a little off to me why they would be considered the Anbu. But Anbu are like rangers too I guess, so that kinda makes sense. Oh here's a comparison.
