and i know that it has been takin from gaara already.

im just wondering what tobi has done with it

Erm I think that the beast itself is being kept in the statue that they used to seal all of the bijuu.

And there is a theory that tobi gas it, but thats doubtful

Its sealed away in the statue. im presuming its still there, as there isnt a sufficient host to occupy the tailed beast, as Gaara is still alive. It would be a waist of chakra and effort for tobi to bring it out, as it would not be very good to control, as in the latest chapters, the tailed beast rebel when they are unleashed in the tailed beast mode and have to be subdued

Because it isn't in Gaara anymore. And Gaara is still alive, Tobi has probably kept it in Gedo Mazo.
