Just because some people are more open about their lives doesn't mean everyone is.

And as I've said before, it's more than just sharing photos and stories of getting high and being drunk; it also includes passwords, health info, social security, etc.

That's an assumption with little credence. You can't just assume that people who enjoy their privacy know that they're being spied on or how to create proxies, and use Tor.

It's not a valid justification. The bottom line is, people have a right to privacy. This ruling goes against that right.

Actually i have all the reason to assume that. Websites of today flat out say (in most cases required by law) they're tracking you or what you do when youre on their site.

So if a person who cares about their privacy doesn't heed to messages like that then why should this be any different?

I'm not talking about websites, I'm talking about your ISP. Before it was required by law for them to get permission to access and share your data, now they build an entire profile housing all sorts of information about you and can distribute to third parties without your consent.

And that includes passwords and social security.
