Why is it when I search google images, say I type in, Hugh Jackman, it might say that there is 500000 pictures but it only shows me about 2000, why?

LOL, I was using him as an example, even if I type in Dragon age, hydrangea bushes or Naruto, it does the same

Google search will pull in hundreds of thousands of images relevant to your search query, but will only display the most relevant images. Most of the other images are probably so indirectly related, you'd probably be looking at something else entirely. Also, porn is filtered if you have safe search on which can AND will drastically reduce the amount of images displayed. Because, let's face it, if it exists then there is porn of it.
