, both of them already having plenty of experience fighting beside one another. They had both become shinobi around the same time, fought each other, killed for each other, became 'enemies', and over the years still managed to keep a bond. Must've been the Mark of the Juubi keeping them closely intwined with each other. During this tournament, Jio had killed plenty, and this was the semifinals, so he awaited his opponents. To Jio's surprise he recognized both of them with a single glance. They had both bested Jio at one point in his life, both being highly dangerous. Roy of the Kiyoshi, a kind yet deadly shinobi. And Ling, a more aggressive ninja that would have to be dealt with with care. Eustass, be careful. I'm not sure where I stand with them now, but both of those shinobi have proven to exceed my skill level before. Be careful..

With That said Jio instantly darts to his left in an arc towards you two, keeping the arc thin instead of going wide. Simultaneously as he takes off at the duo he claps his hands together and creates a white staff made of solidified wind that he carries in his left hand while he throws a kunai at both of your abdominal areas. The staff holds massive cutting ability and reach, which would allow Jio to cut through most things whenever using it in close range.
With Jio taking off towards you guys, Eustass simply lets off a sinister smirk as he opens a portal a few inches away from his chest. The moment the ports is created a lightning shaped blast of Keigoku bursts from the portal, though to you two it would seem as if it was a flash of light coming from the portal, hindering your sight and sensing abilities long enough for the Keigoku to hit a incapacitate Ling. While you guys are affected by the Keigoku technique, Jio grips the staff like a boss spartan or something in order to chunk it at the impared Roy, aiming to cut him in half at his waist. The staff being made of wind meets little resistance and moves in closely to do its damage. The moment it leaves Jio's hand he does a hand seal that makes the staff grow butterfly wings, granting Jio the ability to control the staff's trajectory in mid flight.

Description: The user begins by gathering up a considerable amount of chakra in his palms followed by clapping them together near his chest.. Once that is done, the user takes his hands apart but as they move away from each other the user uses shape manipulation around wind currents and forms a staff made of condensed wind. The staff is approximately the same height as the user and about a foot in diameter and is very similar to the wind blade technique, in both visual tangibility and cutting potential
Close range abilities: The staff's main use is to be used in close combat, where it is able to be used as a normal staff, though it has the cutting abilities of an S-rank wind blade
Mid range use: The staff can also be used at a range, in which it gained.its name "butterfly staff". The user can simply throw the staff like a spear but as It's in mid flight the user does a single hand seal thus transforming the staff as it moves. The staff quickly sprouts from its sides a pair of wings that resemble that of a butterfly's. This allows the staff to not only pick up speed and killing potential but also also allows the user to control it in mid flight to hit opponents. While be controlled, the staff has to always be moving forward and can't turn around nor make sharp turns.. At any point while flying, the user can do one more hand seal which results in the wind exploding into a 7m wide vortex of wind that would suck things from 5m out into it while also cutting anything that comes into contact with it up

( Fōsurai ) - Force Lightning

Then, the user will open the portal within short range of themselves suddenly, letting the foul chakra explode out into the jutsu. The sudden appearance of such pressurized chakra creates a "flash" of chakra bright enough to momentarily blind dojutsu users and sensors (only if their dojutsu/sensor techniques are active). The Keigoku then shoots forward at the target shaped like lightning, causing pain and temporary incapacitation for one turn
Note: The "sensory/dojutsu blinding" effect lasts long enough for the lightning bolt to travel to mid-range and lasts only during said turn
