on episode 249 minato teleported himself and the kurama outside the village. while he was on top of the fox he said "in order to transport something this big i need just as much chakra" so is it safe to say minatos chakra level is on the level of a tailed best??? or am i just reaching:shrug:?? dont forget kurama was also creating a tbb at that moment too!

He didn't say that in the manga. He just said he'd need to use a massive amount of chakra to teleport something that large.

I bet Kishi intentionally let minato talk about his technique and chakra because he has heard the non sense minato fans say about how his techniques taking no chakra

I think he was saying that he spent a lot of chakra teleporting Kurama with him, and he wasn´t expecting it. Not that it means that he has tailed beast chakra levels, but like Summoning Jutsu, you need an high quantity of chakra and concentration to summon a beast like Gamabunta(the big toad or w/e).
So it's logical that after he had used so many teleports and barriers, he would have less chakra to teleport himself and Kurama.

Minato probably had size able chakra reserves, since he can use FTG so easily over and over again it probably eats up alot of chakra so I'm guessing minatos three guards could only use it with the three of them is because it took alot of chakra and minato has a large reserve. Or that it takes alot of skill to use. Plus the fox is goddamn gigantic. Anyways I bet FTG takes more chakra than a normal summoning jutsu since it is far more advanced.

Minato has a decent amount of chakra, but it's not anywhere close to the level of a jinchuuriki.

The larger something is and the more chakra it has, the more chakra that's needed to summon it/move it with Space-Time techs. That much is clear. He definitely had high chakra levels given all he did as his soul was being pulled out and he had a giant claw piercing him, but I doubt it was Jinchuriki level. Then again, Fukasaku compared Jiraiya's chakra level to Naruto's so who's to say a non-Jinchurki won't have a massive amount. Not all that important in my opinion.

Distance he travels would play a part, there are 3 virsions of FTG I think

1: short range teleport

2: complex teleport (IE when he was fighting tobi he teleported to the moving kunai

3: long range teleport.

So 3 would probably take the most chakra.
Edit:

You don't need to be a jinchuriki to have a goddamn gigantic chakra reserve, as demonstraighted by A and Kisame.

There's only one version. Also, the translation that says that Minato said there are two levels of FTG is wrong also. He explained to Tobi that there were two steps to the technique.

Bro, tell you what. After seeing the latest naruto episodes, Minato is like a god to me! I mean, the guy's base speed is faster than tobi's and I can't wait where they show 4th hokage vs bee and A, that's going to be make Minato even more epic!! The 4th hokage is the coolest by far and the best in my opinion. He is like a legend, even Tobi respects him!

In Naruto-verse, Stamina is Chakra. For example, in the DBs, the chakra field is "Stamina".
