Good nagato rinnegan theory...

first things first, i believe nagato's rinnegan is natural, and that he developed them.

1. obitobi said that nagato was the "third sage of six paths" and he would know.
2. tobito has lost 3 RIGHT arms (minato, konan, torune) and we know he is part zetsu. he is an uchiha, so with hashi cells from the zetsu that madara made, he can use izanagi and handle the rinnegan. nagato never had any hashi cells, nor uchiha parts. he awakened the rinnegan naturally.

hopefully we learn more in the coming chapters, and kishi can do whatever the hell he wants, but i think my theory is logical.

dont know how losing an arm has anything to do with it.
its possible but i just dont see how.
if you are right, naruto is probably going to get a rinnegan too

None of that explains your reasoning for thinking that he awakened it naturally since it has been shown that Madara evolved his sharingan to the rinnegan.

What you have stated has nothing to do with how he would of awakened the Rinnegan naturally

you have to awaken them from a sharingan like madara because he can switch between his eyes.
nagato can't do that and nagato is uzumaki which is distantly related to the senju.
naruto can handle the kyuubi because he's uzumaki
so nagato can handle having the rinnegan implanted in him

Eh, Nagato awakening the Rinnegan naturally would make him seem less special IMO, the whole point of choosing Nagato was that he had higher chakra reserves and vitality than any Uchiha, and had mastered all 5 elements. So combining this with the Rinnegan gives him the eyes PLUS body effect (thus relating him to the SO6P)
