Nah, good & evil are a thing. It all depends on your intent. You can do something wrong without bad intentions or do something good without good intentions, then there's doing something bad for the sake of being mean and something good the sake of actually being nice.

Good and evil is a thing it ain't just a concept, I used to think it was.

I'm just saying if God made good and evil, to be applied to us, applying it to him wouldn't make sense. The creator isn't part of the creation, he's not good or evil.

Fair enough. I'd apply it anyway, because I can't help it but I suppose what you're saying makes sense.

There are many secular systems of ethics that attempt to establish an objective basis for claiming that certain acts are "good" and others are "bad." Kant's categorical imperative, Utilitarianism, etc.

The part about Hitler being the Messiah for the Germans is incorrect. There's a huge difference in being German and being a Nazi.

Men are neither good nor evil. One's actions however, can be good or evil. That's what a lot of philosophers think, such as Kant.
He says that there are "rules", which you absolutely cannot break, if you don't want to be doomed as evil. No matter the case.
You can, however have a "good will" to support your action and lower the level of how morally wrong it is.

Then there's also people like Bentham and Mill who support the utilitarianism, which basically says that as long as you think about the quality and quantity of happiness, which gets maximized during/after your action, you can break morals and still be "good".

Kant was probably autistic tho

That pic is irrelevant to the thread but I agree with what Pumpkin Ninja says. Can't put human traits or anything man-made to a transcendent being.

Also, we all have the choice to do good or evil so that's in us and not the Creator.

Because ppl can have different perceptions of truth there can't be a such thing as good or evil......what? Seriously what are u ppl smoking :|

Germans thought Hitler to be a god at a point because they lacked empathy for those he committed wrong to. If they were the victims then they would feel the same.

deciding good and evil isnt simple, but at the very least if u can put yourself in the position of those that will be effected you should feel some sort of empathy telling you whether the course is wrong or right.

If you can't do that much then you should probably check yourself into a mental hospital.

You use the concept of moral values in order to disprove God, yet you don't know that one of the best apologists of our time, namely William Lane Craig, use morality in order to justify God's existence and nobody has ever been able to prove him wrong.
It means don't try to steal in the house of the thief

Morals in general tend to be. Plus using this kind of logic, one could say that many ideological concepts or even societal habits are "man made". Hell even simple in
Irefutebale tautological systems that are considered facts like 2+2 being 4 are also to be questioned with this type of logic as they're really nothing but man made concepts that help people with various parts in their lives(comprehension, controlling, evolving etc...)

This is the post I wanted to see lol. I mean by that logic, even 'logic' and the word 'concept' are kind of man made 'concepts'

Prove it!!!!!!!

you just need some reflection and that is it.
The Universe comes from out of nowhere or just randomly...
Life begins randomly....
When The first DNA/ protein came to life it just happened to know how to preserve and divide itself...
You could say animals have instincts because of their DNA, but the first DNA can't know how to take care of itself... it would be no better than a rock

no shit as were the only creatures that can afford to do more.

Most basic living beings follow a direct path of prioritizing their necessities first than their desires.

We human beings who are more intelligent than they are have the capacity to put our necessities last and pursue our desires instead.

This causes major complications in which one must pay dearly, which we know as karma or otherwise known as consequences.

These consequences would be then become the base of our principles called ethics in which religion are founded on.
These religious codes of conduct were then implemented by our society and we now know them as laws.

We may be intelligent beings but we are the dumbest of them all.

Doing stupid things because they are stupid is bad. But knowing that they are stupid to begin with makes you worse than those beasts.

If you dissect Good and Evil you'll come to a conclusion that what we perceive as good is whether we do things out of necessity while evil is based on our desires.

Taking a life is both good and bad. Killing is a necessity. Murder is not. One must be permanently dealt with in order to stop further bad things from happening, even though it is an extreme case.

But to permanently deal with someone just because they were a nuisance is an entirely different matter.

So yes. Good and Evil is a concept made by mankind solely due to the fact that we don't do things entirely out of necessity and in fact we rather do the opposite. We make our decisions based on how it makes us feel.

We are illogical creatures first, logical beings second.

To give you an example: Take a look at our society at the moment. We do not care whether we are faced with facts. If it offends us, we retaliate. How we feel about things is what makes THE TRUTH to us. Not whether or not it is logical or a fact. Unfortunately.

Atheist would gladly say God does not exist just because religious folks believe that God does and yet when someone wishes to be something else is fine to them because that's what they believe that they are.

So tell me who is right in that scenario? If we can CHOOSE which side is good/correct and which one is bad/wrong, it is a man-made concept.

Correct, there are merely distinctions to define our choices.

Everyone has their different views. What I may see as evil, someone may see is good.
So yeah.
