I just started watching Soul Eater. That's pretty good. If you want something more intense but with a little less action, you really need to watch Monster. I highly suggest Monster. It has an amazing story and an amazing villain.

Afro Samurai is my sh!t, obviously. Other than DBZ, which is a no-brainer.
Full Metal Alchemist is good. Soul eater is good.
