Pitou said Gon has the power of the King in 131 I think.

Not sure, Pitou said that he had the same amoung of strength as the king, though, I think Gon got this.

I may be wrong here, but Pitou said this without knowing of Meruem needing to be revived (and after he revived wasn't he stronger than before?) so Pitou may have been stating that Almighty Gon was as powerful as Meruem before he fought Netero

Pitou said he had around the same power as the king but that was the level when the king faced netero. After netero's battle and the rose bomb, Meruem would win easily imo. He got such a massive power boost.

I think Pitou said that because she didn't know the strength of Meruem after the bomb.

Hmm tough decision then. I think Meruem is still better though since Pitou hadn't seen his full strength before and also didn't have a connection with him like youpi/pouf after rose bomb. Also if they are about the same level (which I don't think so), then I think Meruem would still win since he is much smarter than Gon and probably has more battle tactics.

Hmm perhaps. If he is faster than Gon though, Gon wouldn't be able to land his jajanken. Perhaps he could use the scissors version of the attack but that isn't as strong. Like I said, tough decision. Gon could win or Meruem could win depending on the day imo.
