Yes my people the third part of one of the best RPG?s in the world, and obviously the best RPG on the Nintendo consoles has been announced and for DS and for the moment it?s name is ?Golden Sun DS?
Golden Sun DS was announced at E3 2009, and as mentioned above it is the third game in the Golden Sun series. The announcement of this title comes after over five years after the release of Golden Sun The Lost Age which was released in 2003. More news will be reported as it is given.
PLOT
Many details of the game's story and setting have yet to be revealed, and the name of the protagonist the player controls is currently unknown. Neither are the identities or relations of the other characters seen in this promotional illustration known though they do have some resemblances to previous Golden Sun characters.
At present, it is known that it will follow the story of the previous heroes' descendants. In addition, at E3 what appeared to be prologue text for the game was displayed. The known text reads:
...of a disaster the likes of which had never been seen before.
The heavens stormed. The lands quaked. The seas raged. Across the land, people prepared for the end of the world.
The tale spread that this calamity was caused by some unknown soul who had released a forbidden power upon the world.
GAMEPLAY
The game features a world with 3D environments and entirely 3D battles, and it will feature touch-screen controls which are said to be "pushing the boundaries of intuitive touch-screen controls".
Those who attended to E3 reported that the demo of the game that was available on the show floor consisted entirely of a short playable segment where the protagonist could be controlled to walk around, but do little else other than cross a bridge. As soon as the end of the area is reached, the demo fades into the gameplay trailer.
Though the gameplay trailer is not available (don?t worry I will put it up as soon as it?s up? makes no sense xD) I do have some pictures of the game
