as far as we know the pirate king didnt have any devil fruit powers , so he must have mastered all 3 hakis to the maximum , otherwise he wouldnt be strong enough to draw with edward newgate(whitebeard), knowing this , when he gets executed , why doesnt he use his conquerors haki on all the guards before he died?

The pirate king was sick and at that time there wasn't a cure for that specific sickness, so he gave himself up, they didn't really capture him, but he was going to die, and he wanted to make a change in the Pirates Era, so he handed his head to them.

In my opinion I think people who don't have DF but still go toe to toe with admirals and legendary pirates like whitebeard are more badass.
For example, Shanks and Reyleigh. From what we seen of Roger it looks like he didn't have a DF.

Who knows he could of had a Paramecia or a rare elemental Logia.
I'm not saying I think he does, but due to the parallels shown I think it'd be wise to think of it as a probability.

He probably had a rare elemental logia type of DF if he had one.
Maybe a wind type if he had a DF.


I don't see him with a zoan type, it just doesn't suit roger.

Roger didn't give himself to the Marine because of his disease only, but also to insure that the pirates age won't end up with him, so he told them where to find all his wealth and treasure. More like the pirates age was reborn again. That's what he wanted.
