Goku only got stronger after defeating Frieza, a planet buster in normal state. I'm just stating the facts here, but Goku has some incredible potential.

Think of what other kind of astronomical powers exist out there and how big they are, not to mention we have VY canis majoris which has a radius about 2,100 times that of the sun, and the volume is 7 billion times the sun, just a star, in the same galaxy. Goku might have shown to blow up planets.. but has he shown faster than light movement, master telekinesis, physics manipulation and reality warping, changing space and or time itself, creating black holes, or anything of the sort? No, good.

Right off the bat your logic is flawed. Planet Vegeta was off paneled in the manga. Only the anime adaptation showed how it was destroyed. The anime is notorious for making things stronger then they were in the manga. Most notably the gravity kid Trunks was training under.

How do we know Frieza didn't core burst Vegeta like he did with Namek. Actually, it sounds like Frieza was very specialized at core bursting when he missed Namek's core and commented on how he did miss it.

The fact is Frieza at Vegeta was off paneled when Frieza was in his first form and at 50-70% of his final form he wasn't able to blow up Namek.

This shows anyone around Goku's level as a SSJ in the Namek saga are capable of core bursting to blow up planets. They don't have the power to completely blow up a planet without the planet becoming unstable and blowing up without a stable core.

Now if you were to compare Perfect Cell to a planet buster, I may believe you.

Another random fact, only Kid Buu has shown feats of planet busting in the manga. Everything else is based on hyperboles, powerscaling, and assumptions.

Of course what is the size of the Earth compared to one of the smaller stars in our universe.

I'm literally just stating the facts. Appereantly just anime facts. If Frieza does core bust, how else would a lanet blow up? A beam from whoever is shot from space, then it hits the core. Bye bye planet. Again, I'm not penning him against anyone, just stating that he has potential.

The Vegeta planet busting feat was indeed off panelled so it isn't vial, moreover the case is intact seeing thow freiza blew up namek with trouble, it didnt happen instantly either, even thus he concentrated most of his energy into the final blast, by feats the contribution isn't much and dbz is known for this certain inconsistancy, as the amount of claims made in the manga aren't credibly backed up either, for instance king cold saying he can easily planet bust earth and cell claiming he's a solar system buster, even distinguishing the planets size, we don't know how big namek was from earth or so. although they never suggested such feat wise. Goku even being a star level char by the end of the series is still very very impressive. Most of the dbz feats remain as outliers, and unquantifiable.
