It was never shown Goku to do such things, nor would it be in Goku's character to do so. Goku NEVER uses his spirit bomb at the beginning of a match. He ALWAYS does a warm up, but against someone like Z, it would be very bad for Goku.

The only way I see what you said to work is if Goku is blodlusted AND has full knowledge, but it wouldn't even matter since an attack like that wouldn't even phase Z.

To bad IT ONLY works when Goku can lock onto a lifesource. Saturn has no life(that we know of). It is also limited in range since Goku could not go to New Namek when they needed the dragon balls in the Buu saga to beat Buu.
