[Discussion] Goku vs Itachi

this is the biggest argument for itachi.

Itachi begins the match facing goku, he senses the immense ki, reacts fast activating his mangekyo sharingan, Goku notices the eye color change, and he is sucked into tsyukonimi and killed.

Goku's argument is he is to powerful for tsyukonimi to work. Itachi attempts to grab him, and when he realizes he can't goku obliterates him by thinking.

There really isn't much of a way for Itachi to kill Goku. None of Itachi's attacks are good enough to do any real damage to Goku, even from as far back as the 23rd Budokai (probably even earlier to be honest), and not to mention that by the end of the series Goku has much, much more speed than Itachi. Eye contact is a nice thing, but it won't work when Itachi isn't even fast enough to react to his opponent, let alone catch his gaze for a proper genjutsu.

Goku could handle a city buster since before Z started, there's really no way Goku at his best can possibly lose to Itachi.

Amaterasu is heavily overrated. In all honesty there's no way it's going to kill, let alone do any significant damage, to Goku. Amaterasu didn't even instantly kill Karin or Killer Bee upon touch, in the situation that Goku is somehow hit by Amaterasu in spite of being way too fast for Itachi to land it in the first place, it's not going to do any good. Goku tanks attacks that make Amaterasu look pitiful throughout the entire series.

2. Itachi knows about goku while goku doesn't know anything about him.
3. Itachi and goku start 10 metres apart (soul caliber, mortal kombat, smash bro's style)

i apologize for the thread, alot of people from my college are talking about goku vs itachi and it is pretty crazy, so what do you all think about the thread?

i like itachi but bro, gou can solo all of the characters in the NV at once. that monkey could just teleport on the moon and make a huge spirit bomb and land it on earth, GAME OVER. ROFL
