When not in battle, Goku is very friendly towards others and playful. He has a sense of humor and is very cheerful and not easily provoked.
Goku, when provoked or in battle, reveals his lineage as a Senju. As the Senjus before him, he grows a THIRST for battle that cannot be quenched by anything lesser than his opponent's defeat. Goku will never turn down a worthy opponent and will never give up on a battle unless it's a really ugly green cockroach wannabe. As a Senju descendant, he will take any opportunity to test his abilities, even if it guarantees his death. On top of this hunger for battle lies a mindset to bring justice to the world. He will take all measures to distribute justice, even if it means harming others. His determination and raw talent are what makes him so fitting as a warrior.

Not much is known about Goku's family other than that he is of Senju descent. What is known about Son Goku is that his parents were killed right after he was born, he only survived due to being rescued by a villager. He was placed in an orphanage where he was noticed to have an unusually large chakra reserve. During his childhood, he was a standout for his age. He graduated the academy and became a jounin at age 11. He fought in tournaments for entertainment against foes who were much stronger and older. He spent a lot of time traveling the Ninja World and spent time in places such as Kirigakure and Amegakure. During his traveling, he was able to get a lot of training in. His harsh training combined with his raw talent that stemmed from his Senju blood line made him capable of learnign all 5 nature transformations. Goku also discovered he had the ability to sense chakra.

Goku carries a multitude of weapons with him.
These include things such as

Due to intense training in Suiton, Goku has gained complete control over the element and can perform all jutsus with a single handseal.
As a Master of Wing, Goku can perform all Wind jutsus with quicker handseals.
